Ti Lm358 is an operation amplifier. The Q3 is able to support decoding up to 512kbps, thanks to AKM's new efficient AK4462 VELVET SOUND DAC and XMOS XUF208. The high power and low distortion of theAAA Amps are due to the patented feed-forward error correction topology. You will experience subtle details and shocking swings in your music with the Q3. Multiple jacks for headphones. You can connect all kinds of headphones with the Q3's balanced and single-ended outputs. The 3.5mm headphone output port has 150mW (16, THD+N1%), 160mW (32, THD+N1%), and 19mW (300, THD+N1%). The input interface is a type-C. The compatibility of its solution is ensured by the certification of the USB-IF. Thesycon official driver is compliant with the specifications of the device class. The Q3 can be used as a computer accessory. It can decode up to 32 bits. No driver is required for use with a Mac computer, while a Windows driver is required from FiiO's website.
👤I bought this because my old portable DAC was cumbersome to use with my phone and was the last Micro-USB device in my travel kit. This allows me to ditch the micro cable, but also allows me to use a DAC/AMP without the Apple Camera Connector. I wanted a portable DAC/AMP that would allow me to play hard to drive headphones and not require a bunch of dongles, and this is it. There is a It's connected. This comes with a very hard to find item. The cable that works great is short. 3.5mm to 3.5mm is included with it. Whatever you use should be covered by what's included. You have a number of outputs that include 2.5mm, 3.5mm, and 4.4mm. There is a It also has a mesh carrying bag and rubber bands for attaching a phone to a player. There is a I do not have golden ears. It sounds very similar to my previous one. Both sound better than the Apple lightning. They drove my HD660Ss way into the realm of uncomfortable listening. There is a I purchased this so that I could listen to music while I'm away from my company's office or home. The amount of ports and cables make this a great piece of tech that I can use with my Mac or PC, and also pick headphones without having to remember a bag of adapters. If you don't think it will sound like a massive desktop setup, I think you will be happy with using this as a portable DAC/AMP. There is a I didn't like the feel of the knob. The bass boost makes things sound worse.
👤I purchased this with Apple doing full Lossless. I'm not sure if anything is taking advantage of it. You can force Apple Music to always play high-resolution files. It will give you a warning, which is what this thing should be. Apple music doesn't indicate that it's playing hi-Res when plugged into my Macbook pro. The light on my FiiO is blue. When I plug my headphones into my Macbook, Apple Music will play Full Dolby. The light on the device has only shown blue after I tried it with my new iPad pro. I need to do more testing, but it doesn't seem that any of my sources are passing it through at full quality.
👤I don't have a point of reference or anything to compare it to because this is the first portable amplifier that I bought. I like the accessories that come with it, but the main cable can't be replaced easily since fiio doesn't sell replacements. The cables are c to c. You just need to find a cable that has two right angle bends to route the cable properly. The rest of the cables are good, along with the little carry bag. There is a The device is sleek and small, but not as small as those clip on mp3 players. Think of it as similar to those thin metal battery packs that you can bundle up with your phone and you'll realize how small it is. There is a The connection options can be changed. If you connect anyusb cable to your computer, it will recognise it as a sound device. Changing the charge switch to off will keep your phone from trying to steal its battery. The output is limited to 2.5mm and 4.4mm by using the 3.5mm input. If you don't know what those are, use theusb c as the input. I wish the cable included was a bit more sturdy since it's the main cable used to connect your device. I see that the only cable they have is strsight, instead of right angle, and that they only have a replacement cable online. There is a I only have a few headphones that are good for testing, including the akg, Grado, SHP9500, and Sony WH- CH710N. Since my primary phone doesn't have a headphone jack, I had to use my computer and tablets. I can crank my headphones louder. I can't get my headphones loud enough to make them uncomfortable when plugged into the standard jack. This is a good thing for my hearing, but not the best for other things. I can barely go to max without hurting my ears with the amplifier. I have more control over the audio of my devices because of the extra headroom for volume. It is important to make sure your audio source is at max volume and to use the amplifier's volume knob to adjust your listening level. As far as being a dac. It's difficult for me to tell. If I was blind folded and you went back and forth between plugging it into the jack and the dac amplifier, there might be a difference I can't hear. I can't hear the sound, maybe it's cleaner or more defined. The device is more effective. I couldn't test the 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced ports since my headphones don't support that function. I didn't want to spend money on headphones that didn't have the balanced cable because I would have to pay more for the headphones that I already own. Balanced output is better and more powerful. Is $150 too much for this thing? Is that correct? Sort of? If you have the headphones that benefit from more power and a decent quality dac, I say get it. If you have headphones with balanced cables, you can try to power them. If you just need to get your headphones back, a dongle is the easiest solution.
The ThX CERTIFIEDAUDIO OUTPUT is exclusive and designed for low-bandwidth distortion. Unlike other mobile MQA-DAC designs, the HELM BOLT physically isolates the DAC from theusb port for improved EMI isolation and uses a three-sorrow design for superior frequency lock with dramatic improvements over single-sorrow designs. The design is simple but powerful. The silver body has been carefully designed to make it compact and classic. This amplifier is easy to use. There is a switch for adjusting gain and another for fine tuning bass levels. The needs of bass lovers are met. The OPA1642 chip handles low-pass filter duties. Hi-fi music can be streamed to your stereo system with the 3.5mm input/output jack. The drive is high-performance. Up to 12 hours of use is possible with the 2200mAH internal battery. The sound is without distortion. An 18-month worry-free warranty and friendly customer service are what you get with the N2 Headphone amplifier x1, User Manual x1, and 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.
👤I would rate it 5 stars, but I would like more control over the bass. It's as good or better than anything else in its affordability range, even though an on/off setting doesn't adequately account for the different types of headphones or the mastering/ sound quality on the different files. The N2 does a great job of enriching the sonic presence of virtually everything I listen to, or at least taking up the slack for the various headphones that are inherent to the various headphones. I use that. It's very stylish, portable, and versatile, and feels cool in the hands, though a tad too slick for those of us with old man fingers. I bought two of these little guys for my collection of little music toys. Baby Boomer issues. Don't get me started!
👤When I used my phone to play music, my truck radio didn't have enough volume. I bought this hoping to change it. That is defeated in high quality sound. You need to balance out the sound between the radio and amplifier so you don't blow out your speakers. The gain and bass switches work as expected. I don't leave the bass on all the time because it's so deep and rich and I'm afraid for my speakers, so I only use it on certain songs and turn the volume down just in case. This is a very good product. It is built like a quality item and does exactly as it says. I tried this unit and it was so loud that I turned it down immediately. Great product and great seller. All the way!
👤This is a handy little amplifier. It's light and small, but I wouldn't be comfortable using it for long periods of time, especially for activities like jogging. I use headphones to listen to my guitar. I route the output of the mini earphone amplifier I have plugged into my guitar into his Fosi Audio N2 for additional amplification. I use the Fosi to keep the volume on my mustang micro very low to save my battery and reduce distortion. I'm grateful that more device manufacturers are moving towards the power standard of theusb-c, and that charging the device is easy. I've only used this for a short time, but it has held its charge well, without needing to be charged again. There is a The knob has a nice feel. The switches for gain and bass are small, but sturdy for their purpose. I'm not sure how much abuse the switches could handle, so don't let toddlers play with this amplifier. I like the fact that a gain switch is included. I don't use the bass switch much for playing guitar. It adds a little more "oomph" to the bass lines in pop music.
👤When driving higher volumes or when the bass is on, this amplifier clips. It's a sure sign that the headset isn't powered up enough. The sound quality is abysmal compared to the schiit magni. The magni has a lot more power and headroom, which allows for deep phat bass response, wide soundstage, and controlled buttery mids and treble. The factors sound like cheap headphones with this mobil fosi amplifier. If you've never had a proper amplifier, you'll be fine with this, but don't expect any real performance out of a hifiman 4xx, it's half-assed. I'll probably get a portable power bank that's capable of 3amp output to pair with the schiit hel 2.
An 18-month worry-free warranty and friendly customer service are what you get with the N2 Headphone amplifier x1, User Manual x1, and 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. The world's highest fidelity audio and maximum dynamic range with the capacity to support power-hungry, audiophile grade headphones is achieved with the THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier. Enjoy satisfyingly loud volumes and clean sound when you crank it up. Master Quality Authenticated is a renderer. Digital Master Quality Audio recordings can be reproduced from services like Tidal. The ES9281pro is a DAC. The studio quality of Tidal Master Quality files can be enjoyed with this digital-to-analog conversion. It's possible to connect to any port on any platform without the need for drivers or installation. There is no mess with messy headphones wires with the built-in magnetic clasp. You can get a Qobuz studio quality streaming subscription for three months when you purchase the THX Onyx.
👤Audio smoothens the music sound profile too much and it misses details. It is smooth and not very engaging. I prefer the sound of my board to be based on the Realtek ALC1220P or the Dragonfly Black. The Luxury & Precision W2 is more expensive than the Onyx. The upside is that it supports microphone, MQA, and cross- platform compatibility. I wanted a small portable amplifier that could be used with my amplifier. I find the headphones to be boring. It might be suitable for your sound preference. I had to return these because it was a no go for me.
👤I am not a musician, sound engineer or an audio engineer. My review is for people who use computers. On December 24th, it was received. Have only been using for a day. I want to fully experience the marvel since Apple Music has introduced Hi-Res Lossless music. I bought it for Apple Music. I use a MacBook Pro and a Sony IER-M9. There is a It's healthy. There are two tables at the end of the instruction manual that show the level of harmful substances. I am fine with this because I will never open up Onyx to touch the circuit board because of the high level of lead. The package, paint, metal case, rubber wire, and other externals are all under the safety limit. I'm happy to see this. I tried FiiO Q3. The accessories of Q3 had high levels of lead. I assumed the accessories were referring to the cables. I returned it. There is a The smallest DAC I have tried with is Onyx. I intend to use it with my phone. It's important to have a small size. Apple's lightning to 3.5mm adaptor is smaller than the one used by Onyx, but it can only do 24 bit sampling. I find a few smaller dongles from Amazon that can do the same thing, but they don't have ThX. Some reviews say that the dongles have crosstalk. Crosstalk: None. It is silent in the other channel when I test a channel with a low and high volume setting. The electronic noise is zero when there is no music. I tried the hip-dac2. I returned the crosstalk because it was so bad. There is a The sound quality is good. I can hear more details with the default speakers of my MacBook Pro than I can with the M9/THX Onyx speakers. I can hear the background noise in the studio with the build-in speakers, but not with M9/THX Onyx. The slide on the strings of a guitar is more pronounced with the build-in speakers than it is with the M9/THX Onyx. Maybe the THX Onyx filters out some details? I plugged M9 directly to the 3.5mm audio out on my MacBook Pro and got the same results. The speakers of my MacBook Pro are the same as M9. Maybe the 3.5mm audio out loses some details? The bass of M9 is stronger than the speakers. There is a I plug M9/THX Onyx into my phone. I have a lightning tousb camera accessory from Apple. The sampling rate of different songs affects the color of the LEDs. The two conditions are the same for M9/THX Onyx. There is a person with the name Onyx with the name THXAAA 78. It is the highest level in the series. The Frontier series is for high end devices. FiiO Q3 has the same level as the lowest in the series. There is a I am happy with the purchase.
There are various of digital devices that can be compatible with mp3s, mp4s, phones, laptop computers and 3.5mm audio. CSR8675 is a receiver designed to deliver studio-quality sound through your ears. Balanced 2.5mm and single-ended 3.5mm out points are included in the BTR3K. Can be controlled via FiiO. There are 8 different DAC lowpass filters and a 10-band EQ in the music app. A new type-C connector has a full charge and 11 hours of pleasure. You can use the microphone, play/pause, volume, and track selection controls with the headphones.
👤It won't drive most over the ear headphones adequately if you bought this for music. There is a Koss KPH30 was ok, but could not deliver enough bass to the Sony MDR-V6. There is a I bought it because of Zoom communication. There is a It is flawed here as well. You can't use Headset Profile for mic and listen on Headphone Profile at the same time. When in full Headset Profile mode on Windows 10, sound is always off, and when you press the volume up or down button, it brings sound back for another 2 minutes. This is not a problem with the app on Windows 10. There is a It is working on the phone. It's a joke that simultaneous multi device connectivity is a joke. When connected to two devices at the same time, the sound stream is messed and the device behaves unpredictably. They never heard back from the bugs they reported. I was looking at BTR5 before buying BTR3K. I didn't buy it because it will come with the same bugs in a more expensive package.
👤It was awesome when I got the BTR3K. It works great with my IEMs and is easy to use. It has plenty of power to drive them and it sounds great. The microphone stopped working after 2.5 months of use. Sometimes I can't perform a factory reset because it stops in the middle of playing music and has to be powered off and back on. The 3.5mm jack has one of the channels shorted. I use it when working out, but I have not dunked it in water. I will update this review with any information about Fiio's support services.
👤The FiiO BTR3K has exceeded my expectations. I have high expectations. Not true audiophile. There is a It's so TINY. There is a The quality of the build is amazing. It feels like a small brick. I have a phone with the device that supports all of the HD codecs. I use the LDAC or the APTX HD to run the BTR3K. My 1more quad-driver, Comply foam ear tips, and best sound for the money, are hanging off of this device. The sound quality of the headphones is comparable to my portable device, which is a FiiO E18 Kunlun, in terms of clarity and soundstage. Even though the DAC on this can only receive 48KHz, 24bit data, you won't get 96K levels of fidelity. That is not a limitation of the BTR3K. The sound quality is amazing, but unless you want to drive really power-hungry cans, the volume levels are enough to cause hearing loss. The volume control on these is completely independent of the source, at least on my phone. This allows you to run the BTR3K at lower volumes and conserve battery life, which is already amazing on its own! There is a The included little holster is well-made and can be clipped to your shirt to use the built-in microphone. I'm pretty sure that the mic on my headphones is turned off by the BTR3K. This little toy is heavy for its size and will drag down on your shirt collar. I put mine off to the side so that it is not dangling from my collar. That seems to work well. It's a pro tip. You need to modify your connection in the settings on your phone to set the BTR3K Connection type to 'best audio quality', not the fancy developer-mode override. If your phone or other source supports it, you will get APTX HD. If your phone supports LDAC, you will need to use the developer options to force it. This is due to the fact that LDAC is prioritized over APTX HD. The color of the little FiiO light on the BTR3K can tell you which codec you are connecting to. Yellow, Light Purple, and LDAC are the letters of the alphabet. The app called Neutralizer is available on the Play Store and will allow you to set up each different combo to be as true to the music as your gear can handle. It uses a simple hearing test to allow you to dial in the perfect balanced sound, regardless of how your headphones were made. This is especially important when it comes to different codecs and DACs. The sound characteristics of your headphones can be changed a lot. I have different profiles for my 1more's connected directly, via my BTR3K, and via myUSB DAC/Amp. There are three different neutralizer profiles. I don't own a set of balanced headphones, so I can't speak to the fact that the BTR3K has direct support for 2.5mm balanced headphones. I have not been able to afford a good set yet. I think it can live up to that challenge. Make sure they are not power-hungry. There is a Hope this review helps. Happy listening! - Matt
Thesycon official driver is compliant with the specifications of the device class. The Q3 can be used as a computer accessory. It can decode up to 32 bits. No driver is required for use with a Mac computer, while a Windows driver is required from FiiO's website. Tubes made of aluminum. The power of the state. The sound is crisp. The Liquid Platinum is an embedded tube/ hybrid amplifier that gives you the beautiful sound of tubes together with the grunt of solid state circuitry to drive the headphones. It uses two tubes, such as 6DJ8s. There are single ended and banded incontinence products. The Liquid Platinum has multiple inputs and outputs for balanced and single ended operation and easy front panel input selection. It keeps its cool. The Platinum has two long, screened slots on either side of the top and bottom to make sure it is well cooled. The amplifier should have enough space around the vents and not in a sealed enclosure. You're protected. Liquid Platinum has a slow power on. After a short delay, it warms up the heaters first and then protects the internal circuitry during startup by bringing up the rails and tube HV. It also includes a connection delay to the headphones and an active offset detector, just in case an internal fault or source fault applies too much DC voltage to the output, it immediately disconnected your headphones.
👤I have been doing reviews on my purchases for the past two hours. I will finish this one quick because I'm a little burnt out. I'm tired because this amplifier deserves a well thought out and lengthy review. This goes. It was short and sweet. This is the best amplifier on the market. The schiit magni 3 is the only competitor. There is a The power is: 1) schiit magni 3 2) liquid spark and 3) atom. The build has liquid spark and atom sound quality very close to each other. I'm talking fractions that are close. Not even that noticable of a difference, but the atom is slightly better than the other two. The amplifier is all power and build quality, but lacks a clean sound. The schiit magni 3 might be your best choice if you have headphones that need a nuclear reactor to power them. The liquid spark is miles ahead of the magni 3 in sound quality. There is a tight race for the best budget amplifier. The liquid spark has more power, better build quality, and less clean sound than any other amplifier, so I have to give it the best budget amplifier award. This is a very impressive amplifier that drives almost all headphones. I can't tell you enough about what you are getting. Absolutely fantastic. You can't really go wrong with any of the three. If you are looking to buy a $100 Amp, I think you will find that all three of the Amps are great choices, but you need to think about your needs, and if you are a snob about your equipment, all three of the Amps are great choices. It comes down to this. If you want the absolute cleanest sound and don't care about power or build, then you should get the jds Labs atom. If you don't mind a clean sound and want heavy power, then you should get the schiit magni 3. If you want to meet somewhere in the middle and have the best of both worlds, then get this liquid spark. Hope this helps you make a decision. Enjoy my fellow audio lovers.
👤I've had the album for a couple of weeks. My main goal is to add another data point for those that may still be undecided. I was on the fence. Monoprice's first venture into serious headamps is not trustworthy. I was expecting a lot of reports of shoddy build quality, but it kept me from pulling the trigger. A huge thanks to the people that took the time to talk with me and push me over the edge. I think that moving up from the Schiit Lyr 3 meant that my DAC was also going from balanced use to SE use. That means that any improvements I hear may be a mix of the Amp and Gumby. I can't reliably distinguish between the two. Gumby A2 is all you can listen to. --Packaging The packaging of the amplifier I ordered from Monoprice was terrible. The amplifier is bouncing around all over the place because of a huge box with two packing bubbles. I was impressed with the box itself. It feels right for $700 or $770 now. Everything is packed inside a nice bag for the amplifier. I know, who cares? It's all about the sound. The big question here is value. $700 is a lot for someone like myself and I want to feel like the money was well spent. Monoprice has done well here. It feels like a high end product. Quality-- When the prototype pics were released, I thought it was hideous. It's nice in person. The case is well-aligned and everything feels solid. The dark gray on the front plate blends into the black body nicely, making the whole thing look very sleek. I don't know why the left and right balanced inputs are switched. When I heard the channels switched, I was shocked. I always tell my students to read before they answer a question. I was not able to read the L & R printed above the sockets. That's on me. The construction is made of metal and has a good weight. It feels like a lot. This is not a cheap toy. Tubes-- There is a The first time you install the tubes it will be difficult because of the tight sockets. The right tube went in without much difficulty. The left tube felt like it was against a wall. I realized the pins were crooked after I straightened them out. Things loosen up a little each time you swap the tubes out, but after 3 or so swaps everything is fine. It's not an issue because Tubes still take a little work to remove. Tubes are very easy to get in at this point. The stock tubes are very usable, but this amplifier responds very well to tube rolling. The stock tubes are clean sounding, but a bit dry. The sound is now dialed in perfectly to my preference after rolling some Amperex tubes. Sound-- This is a step up from the previous one. This isn't a critique of the Lyr. There is a The improvement in dynamics from the Lyr is obvious. The stage has been improved. The sound is very immersive and the instruments have their own spot in the mix. I don't think the soundstage is bad. I think it's decent compared to other Schiit offerings. The album is better. There is a Everything sounds natural and easy, without being boring. The sound is clean but not clinical. There is a What is the sound like in one word? Calculating. Enough said. Misc.-- This appears to be the biggest issue people have with this amplifier, but it's not an issue for me. You're stuck with 5x gain because there is no gain switch. I don't have a problem getting the volume exactly where I want it because it's smooth and accurate on the dial. I had the same experience with the Vali 2 and Lyr 3. Of course, YMMV. I only use the HD 650, so the more sensitive headphones will not have as much play on the volume knob. If this is an issue for you, it is worth your time to look into the methods. The sound of the amplifier makes it worth the extra expense. It runs hot. So what? It's not an issue. Conclusion There is a It seems like a good deal to me. I wondered if this would be a clear step up from the $500 and under category. It is. This is a re-design of the Liquid Crimson, which cost around $1500. The Liquid Platinum is a good deal. There is a It doesn't feel like much of a risk with a 5-year warranty because reliability is a question that remains to be answered. Upgraditis Status: Cured is the final conclusion.
You can use the microphone, play/pause, volume, and track selection controls with the headphones. It can be Carry, it is lightweight and portable, and it can help to amplify the sound. The design of the aluminum matt surface and fashion design makes you feel comfortable. The 3.5mm AUX Input and Output is distinguishable by its SNR and THD+N. It's possible to make it possible to output sound that's sharper and more authentic. Optimal Performance of the Headphones can be achieved with a two-stage gain switch. It can stay working for more than 8 hours because it has a Rechargeable Lithium battery with 1000mAH Capacity. The item comes with a 1.2musb cable and 2pcs audio cable. Amplifier for Headphone can be compatible with a variety of digital devices with 3.5mm output.
👤December, 2021. We were sad when our amplifier broke. We dropped it a short distance to a carpeted floor, but it landed on the gain switch and broke it. Sniff! It worked well until then. We replaced it with a slightly more expensive one because it's slightly smaller and has a rounded case. We hope it works. There is a A family member with hearing loss stopped using the TV room because they couldn't understand dialog. We added this amplifier to make it easier for them to use earbuds and control the volume. A family member has impaired vision so we built a TV room with an HD projector that could show a 100 inch image. They couldn't enjoy the TV room. The TV room is a joy for all of us. There is a The battery life is good, if we turn it off, it lasts for several days on a charge. We charge it every few days and haven't run it down yet. We do not have a complex home entertainment set-up. We don't have an expensive receiver. Rather, we use.
👤I like loud music and loud bass. My laptop doesn't put out enough volume to satisfy my need for sound, despite the fact that I bought specific headphones with very good bass response. There is a The device solved my problem. I don't need it to be battery powered, that's a nice benefit. There is a When I want to really feel the bass vibrating my ears, my headphones are loud. The quality of the build, the knob, and the sound are great. There is a The noise from the laptop was very loud, hissing at low volumes, but once I plugged the headphones into a stand-alone charging device, the noise went away. Loud music.
👤I noticed that the device's charging port didn't go in easily when I tried to charge it. I saw that the charging port was touching the top. The part moved downward quickly. The inline amplifier was used to boost a small computer speaker. Two days after theusb cord was removed, the loose connecticut was back and it was at the amplifier's location. The device wouldn't charge even though it went into the port. I decided to take the device apart to find the problem after I realized I couldn't return the device since I already threw it away. The back of the microusb housing was broken and the device had a problem with the port. I connected the charging cable to the microusb port and saw that the plastic was coming out of the back of the port. The plastic was caved in towards the inside of the port which connects to the charging cable. There is a Does the device work? When it was able to charge, it did. Why did it fail? The microusb port is broken. There is a What are the pros? A metal shell and the ability to play and charge at the same time make this a sleek modern look.
A simple user interface. It is lightweight and portable and can be carried. It's possible to make it possible to output a sound that is more real and less distorted. While the aluminum matt surface makes it durable, it provides a comfortable handheld feeling. It has a Rechargeable battery that allows it to stay working for more than 8 hours. It can be compatible with a variety of digital devices, such as mp3 mp4 mobile phone computer, which may lead to noise.
👤When the amplifier arrived, it was faulty, but Julie from Neoteck was kind enough to send me a new one. I'm very happy with the new one and the service from Julie. There is an update. I have to take three stars off because the replacement was not good. The sound stopped when I was listening to the music. The device had a red light when it was on. No luck trying to power it off. The power cable was disconnected and reconnected. The amplifier is dead. Julie from Neoteck was kind enough to give me a replacement and I won't return it. The service from Neotock is excellent but I think that buying the amplifier is a bit of a gamble, I have had two and both failed after a few days. There was an update on Sep 6th. The reason I had a poor experience with the amplifier was because I was listening to music while it was plugged into my PC via the charging cable and it was getting so much static and noise. I found it in a drawer and tried again. Same problem. The noise stopped when I unplugged the power cable. I have a messed up head. This is a really good little amplifier and a real bargain. Sound goes up to 11!
👤I was unsure if the amplifier would fill the bill. Boy! I was wrong. Even though it only outputs 40 kilowatts, it can blast your music with no distortion. I wouldn't use it for anything other than a headphones amplifier, but I was surprised it did a great job. The HD6 Mix headphones have an impedance of 150 ohms, which can be difficult for some cheaper amplifiers to drive to a decent volume, but this amplifier has no problems. Good job Neoteck! There is a I was an electrical engineer. I took a tour of the unit. The OPA604 operational amplifier ICs are from the venerable Burr Brown. It was tough and precise. It is designed for amplification. There is a The HD6 has a Hell of a bass floor that can be kind of boomy. When they were plugged into my PC, there was no volume. I bought this amplifier to combine with the MiniFBQ to take out some of the boom. I have been very pleased with both units. If you want to use the MiniFBQ, you'll need to get some adapters because it only has 1/2 inch and RCA jacks. If you use a good quality charging device, you can leave it plugged in all the time so you don't run out of juice. No noise, no hum. I'm using an old phone accessory. I tried plugging it into the PC and it was loud. Don't go there.
👤On 4/12/2018, it was purchased and delivered. There is a The unit was built well and worked well until today, when I noticed that it wouldn't work for long and would shut itself down. When I cycle the unit off and on again, it works for 5 seconds before the sound stops. It stopped 30 days after delivery. I only use it on long drives twice a week, but if I used it daily, it would be one thing. There is a This is not acceptable. I couldn't find any warranty info when I checked. I have seen that Neoteck has helped others who have failed. Hopefully, they will do the right thing for me as well.
High-end making material and craft: using gold-plated sockets, original nichicon electrolyticCapacitor, original DALE resistors and precision ring resistance. Customer service was prompt and courteous. STUDIO GRADE PORTABLE DIGITAL ANALOG CONVERTOR WITH MQA: BOLT delivers studio sound on the go from any mobile device across all listening formats. It supports streaming for unparalleled fidelity in portable audio. It is compatible with all of the above. Extra or third party apps may be required for MQA support. The artist and engineers intended the recording to be heard for better-than-CD audio resolutions, so the highest fidelity sound was rendered. You can stream MQA content from a number of websites. It's a Certified MQA. There is a 3.5mm Headphone Output that can support the playback of PCM files with sampling rates up to 384 kHz or DSD files with sampling up to 5.6MHz. The 3.5mm audio jack is compatible with wired headphones and speaker systems. There is a note. If you don't have a 3.5mm input jack, you need an accessory. Amplified audio output and headphone output level matching will increase the audio output in devices with combined audio output. Headphone output level automatically sets the level for 150 ohms.
👤This review is for people who own quality headphones or earbuds. The Helm Audio Bolt is useless if you don't. There is a The sound quality boost is worth it if you plan on using it with your laptop. I don't know if it's worth it. It's close enough. It definitely made a noticeable and pleasing difference using my Shure SE 535's on my Asus: deeper bass, better instrument separation, a bit clearer and a wider soundstage. This is a different beast than using it with a phone, as I will explain in a moment. The Helm Bolt doesn't work well with the app, the volume is too low, and there's nothing to do about it. I have a lot of issues with this and I will list them here, but I think it works great with Tidal if you install UAPP, which costs about $10. 1. I don't like Tidal. Though they technically have more songs, a large number are repeats and if you listen to any genera that tends to have a lot of remixes, Tidal's selection is far worse than the one on Spotify. There are other reasons I don't like Tidal. 2. You have to use the User interface to get the benefit on the Helm Bolt. UAPP is a messy and sometimes frustrating place to play music. 3. MQA is not better than the highest sound quality. Most of the time, I preferred the track on the same platform as I preferred the MQA tracks. It's not any better, it's just different and often means less bass and less "energy". 4. Don't pay for Tidal HiFi. I can't stress this enough. It isn't worth it. Only about one fourth of my library has MQA as an option, even if it was better. A lot of Tidal's tracks are not MQA. You'll be paying an extra $10/month for something that doesn't improve how a song actually sounds, and it's frustrating because it often isn't available for a lot of your songs. You can use it for free for 30 days if you don't believe me. 5. Volume can't be changed via the in-line controls. I can play/pause and skip songs, which is nice. There is a If you like Tidal and don't mind the interface on UAPP, the Helm Bolt is a great tool. If you're like me, the only reason you're looking for a product like this is because the manufacturers are doing away with the 3.5mm jack. If this is the issue you're trying to solve and you don't want to switch from Spotify, I have a few options for you. The Sony Xperia phones are awesome, they have a 3.5mm jack, and they care about quality sound, so if you want to buy one, you should. 2. Wait for the streaming service to offer support for the digital audiocassette. 3. You can buy a few cheapusb-c to 3.5mm Most of them get the job done, even though they are not great and only last two weeks to two months. 4. I'm not a big fan of the options. The IEM's that are used by companies like Westone can be mounted on a wireless device. There is a This review is applicable to any higher-end DAC, be it the Dragonfly/Red/Black, the Helm Audio Bolt or any other. The sad truth is that at the time of writing this review, listening to the service with wired earpieces on a high-end flagship phone is a nightmare. I'm going to keep the product because the sound quality on my laptop is enough to not send it back. It doesn't do the job I wanted it to. I want a Sony phone by October of 2021 and will upgrade to the Shure SE 846's if the streaming service doesn't support DAC's soon. Hope this helps someone.
Amplifier for Headphone can be compatible with a variety of digital devices with 3.5mm output. Hifi Headphone amplifier supports most headphones of high impedance 16-150, 3.5mm AUX Input and Output, signal-to-noise ratio> 100Db, THD + N, fully filter noise, enjoy high-quality audio. It is suitable for your existing wired headphones, earphones and even speakers and is designed to deliver studio-quality sound to your ears. It has achargable battery that can stay working for more than 8 hours. There is a volume control knob. Two-stage gain switch The signal input into the amplifier circuit is enhanced for optimal performance of the headphones. It's possible to make it possible to output louder sound and a sharper sound. The amplifier is compatible with a variety of digital devices, such as mp3 players, mobile phones, computer, CD players and personal media players.
👤The unit is making a clicking sound. I can hear a charge coming from the inside. When the unit is in the pocket, it cuts out when in the computer, and the play will not resume unless I play/pause the cell phone. I use a new phone with the latest version of the OS, and this doesn't happen on either of my other devices. I will return the unit. --- There is a The unit is wonderful. There are three flaws. The auxiliary cable is one of the best looking cables I have ever seen. It's unfortunate that the poor internal construction can't be used. The other reviewer is correct. They would just send me trash. If the unit can't be used, just throw it away. 2. I would like to see a DAC built into the charging port. There is a $5 price for a USB DAC. This would add a lot of value. 3. It needs a high quality audio. There is support for aptX. I would like that in this receiver as well. There is a If they spent another $0.50 on a useless 3.5mm cord, and the unit had a DAC and aptX, we'd be talking about mid-ranger gear. You would be talking about a $200 unit if they added play/pause next/back buttons. The market would be killed with another $10 of hardware. It was a missed opportunity.
👤These changed how I listen to music. Most cell phones can't put out a higher impedance, so I use them with the Sony MDR-7506. The Neoteck amplifier is rich, full sound, like nothing you've ever heard. They won't fix clarity. The reproduction of the amplifier will be distorted if it can't put out clear sound. The feature is limited by the medium. It's not as clear as hooking up an auxiliary cable. There is a The supplied auxiliary cable is not very stable. Loud crackles can be heard through the headphones if you move it even slightly. You can easily solve it by using a third-party cable. It's hard to overstate how much this is for someone who cares about sound quality. It's a no-brainer. If you don't have an immediate need for it, keep it in your collection. You will not be sorry.
👤I miss the 3.5mm jack on the I-phone. I tried several things. These did not have enough juice to drive my headphones. I used the pre-amps for my portable amplifier to connect to the internet and upgrade the sound quality. I had to deal with mounting, connection and equalization issues while it worked. There is a The Neoteck NTK106 is the best answer because it provides decent amplification in one neat package. I'm very happy with it. I can't wait for Neoteck to come up with an update with more juice and balanced output. My friends will find this Neoteck in their stocking. Thank you Neoteck.
👤It stopped playing music through the right channel when I used it for a few months. If I connect straight to the phone, there are no issues. I won't have the right audio. It will crackle or return for a few moments because of the cord moving in the sockets. It was great until that issue. I haven't had a chance to check if it's just the combo of the headphones and the amplifier, but the implication is that the amplifier has a defect. The audio jack doesn't work anymore. Sometimes playing with the dial and jack can sound like it's playing music. It's just a brick now. Spend more for something from a company with a good reputation.
A dual-mono balanced version of B4 and B4-X is called 1 B4-X. The left and right channels are amplified by independent components. The degree of sound separation is higher. 2 B4-X has 2 groups of independent power supply and can drive 300 headphones. 3 The circuit has higher output power. 3.5mm and 2.5mm output interface is suitable for most balanced and standard headphones. The built-in tube makes it convenient to carry and enjoy Hifi music everywhere, and the mini size makes it easy to hold the tube amplifier in one hand. The sound is warmer than transistors, independent opamp and power supply, less interplay and higher sound quality. The battery protects your listening feast without time limitation. It can't be turned on during charging and will power off automatically after fully charged. High-end making material and craft: using gold-plated sockets, original nichicon electrolyticCapacitor, original DALE resistors and precision ring resistance. Customer service was prompt and courteous.
👤If your 3.5mm jacks make a solid connection, this amplifier sounds great. I've sent two of them back to Amazon because the sound on both of them is bad when I move the input or output connections. I've tried multiple cables and the problem continues. Keeping constant pressure on the malfunctioning connection is what I found to prevent the problem. I hope my third unit is better than the previous two. I've seen the black and silver versions. The black had a better finish than the raw aluminum version. You can upgrade the Op-Amp to a Burson V5i-D. The unit sounds like a 5-star amplifier, but only when music is playing on both channels. Two stars for having to return two units. There will be a new update on July 7th. The third unit arrived and had the same problem. I dug through my cables and found a few more 3.5mm. One of them makes a connection. It is easy to pull out, but I can rotate it without the audio cutting out. The unit can be difficult to use with certain cables. The sound of the amplifier is worth the trouble to find good cables. There is a * There is an update on 09DEC2020. The B4 sounds even better now that the OP-AMP has been swapped. It was worth the hassle I went through before.
👤Buy it. The little amplifier is amazing. It adds warmth to everything. The detail is very good. It sounds just the same as my Fiio Monte Blanc, but it may not be as detailed. It was played on the ONKYP Dp-X1 through a pair of ShURE Se- 215 IEMs. If you know about that stuff, you can be sure the audio 'chain of custody' was worthy of the test. Some people think the little amplifier is great. That is true. I would still feel like it was underpriced if I had paid 3X the price. A very cool piece of gear. I can't understand why reviewers complained about heat. The audio player is hotter than the tube amplifier. I have been running for an hour. It's still going. No heat issues here! I have been using the battery for the first time and I can't vouch for its battery life. The bass guitars and bass-synth sounds great, and the strings sound noticeably "lush". The little guy is a musician. If you don't like the unit, you can return it for a full refund, but Amazon has the best hassle free return policy on the internet. I am listening to this review and it is fun, and at this price point, really a bargain. Buy it.
👤The Little Bear B4-X is not for you if you want a flat, linear, detailed and accurate sound. Stop reading and buy a Schiit Magni Heresey for just 99. That is what you should look for in your first earphone. Unless you're 'tube curious'. This is a very strong example of tube sound, though it's not hi-fi tubieness and most tube-ophiles will say this is a gimmick. The sound is good, the bass is strong and the treble is not loud. If you want to see if you want to spend more on a tube amplifier, you can add tubes for a bit to see if it's worth it. The 3.5mm outputs are very good for amplification. Again, not an audio engineer but fun.
There are 3.5+ 2.5mm dual outputs, cVc 8.0 noise cancellation, in-vehicle mode, and a FiiO Music app. You can use your existing wired headphones, earphones or even speakers to hear the studio-quality sound through your ears. The weight is 20g and it takes 14 hours of continuous play. There is a dedicated app with 10 band EQ and Ambient mode. 2 independent Hi-fi DACs and Amplifiers (Asahi Kasei AK4375a) are the optimal dual DACs/AMP design for both single-ended and full-differential outputs. The best way to control the volume is with the help of a built-in microphone, which can be used without a microphone. Max. There is no load and the output power is 1.1V (3.2V peak-to-peak) at 3.5mm unbalanced output/ 2.2V (6.4V peak-to-peak) at 2.5mm balanced output.
👤Constant daily use for 6 months. It drives everything from high sensitivity iems to full size headphones. Sound is good. Transients are fast. It was very detailed across all frequencies. It is hard to believe it is a device. It sounds great as a dac. You have a lot of control over the digital filters. This one is handy because it sounds so good, but I try to avoid using eq most of the time. Just clean. There is a This is a piece of audio that has been thought out and developed. I want to try it in balanced mode. Well done! There is an update. At 7 months it is shutting itself down and not connecting. The power on and off chime are now either high pitched or low pitched. Just broke. It was great until it stopped working. I have taken good care of it. I have been careful to lock the outputs. I tried to contact ransone, but he didn't reply. There is an update. If I forget the device and re-pair, it seems to work again. I have had to hard reset a few times. Even though there isn't any support, it sounds better and is more useful than anything else for the money.
👤I own almost every amplifier that can take phone calls, and it's all designed to be on-the-go. FiiO's new BTR1 is one of the Chinese brands. This one blows each one out of the water. The mic is good. The app has never been glitchy, and it can adjust the EQ and a lot of other things. I can use it with my PC. Right now, I have it plugged into my PC and connected to my phone at the same time. I don't have to take everything off and answer calls when I jam on my PC with a good DAC. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this solution to work. It finally does it with the help of ES 100. This is a keeper. I wish that it was easier to update. You have to manually force the download by connecting to a PC. It sounds like it's hard-wired, but through a wireless device. I bought a balanced cable to see if I notice any differences. There is a This is a good deal. The performance I've encountered so far should be $199. I look forward to buying any future versions they come out with because it fills a big void in this market. There are only a few reasons for this. This amplifier won't work if your headphones have a microphone on them. Audio-only cables must be used. Something to be desired is what packaging leaves. I thought it was possible that they put all their money towards the product development, and didn't leave any left for packaging. It could also mean that they were cheap. You can tell it was not the case if you listen to the device. This product is gem and works well. The update is for the year 2018. This works well as new. It's my most used device. I pair it with my AAW W500. Ambient awareness with a push of a button is helpful if you need to be aware of your surroundings. It's still the best in its class. I highly recommend getting the Earphone Wrap Cord Management. It's easy to use all day. I have never had a complaint about phone call quality or picking up too much background noise.
