1. AudioQuest DragonFly Red Headphone Amplifier

AudioQuest DragonFly Red Headphone Amplifier

Enhances non hi-res music sources. 2.1v output drives almost any headphones. It works with Apple and Android devices. It plays everything from mp3s to high-resolution files. This versatile DAC improves everything.

Brand: Audioquest

👤Highly recommended. I bought the DragonFly to use as a headphones amplifier while on the go. Sometimes I stream on the internet. The sound of the DragonFly is good, but the sound is a bit compressed, the instruments lose their juiciness, and the music gets tiring after a while. I can forget about the annoying graininess of the music when I listen to it for up to 6 hours at a time. There is a The Dragonfly is portable. It's small and plays from your phone pocket. Does not require extra batteries, does not drain your phone battery, and tips the sound quality of your portable system over to the audiophile side. It doesn't sound like a MOJO, but it doesn't matter because the Mojo doesn't fit in your back-pocket. I recommend this device to anyone with high-end headphones. Better headphones will make a bigger difference for anyone with headphones less than $400. You are missing out if you don't hook a pair of great headphones into your phone. Is it worth it? Yes! I have a pair of open Grado PS500e. I use a Brooklyn DAC at home and occasionally listen to my headphones over a $10,000 stereo. I have a point of reference for what a good audio component should sound like, and at what point spending money on sound has diminishing returns. The Dragonfly is a portable headphones amplifier. I've never spent $200 on an audio component that made me happy. Is it better than X,Y,Z? It doesn't matter. It sounds better than you'll ever need for music on the go, but you can't carry a $2000 DAC with you. What's more important is how practical it is, and what it costs. I advise you to buy this one. It is the benchmark of portable headphones, you won't miss the $50, and you won't have an upgrade itch because you bought the best. I will never use it as a stereo DAC, so I haven't bothered trying it on my stereo. I haven't compared this against the other one. I found the Mojo to be more realistic on my favourite songs when I played it back to back, but I never missed the Mojo when I traveled for 10 days abroad listening to the Dragonfly. I was freed from cables and was able to charge another device. The Mojo is the amplifier of choice at home. The review is based on my experience with the headphones. I haven't done much listening to the PS500e Grados'. The DragonFly's short-comings might be more revealing to the Grado's. The Grado's are open air and that doesn't work outdoors so the comparison is pointless.

👤I discovered the world of high end audio equipment several months ago, and have enjoyed trying various headphones and audio equipment. My goal is to find combinations that I like and stick with them, and to find good values that fit my lifestyle and make sense. There is a The Fiio Q1 was fine, but didn't really do much for me, and the OPPO HA-2 was too harsh in the treble dept. I would love to listen to the Chord Mojo. It sounds great. I fear that it won't sound great to me. I stumbled across the Darko review of the new Red just a few weeks ago and knew I had to try it. I'm playing it on my phone through the Apple CCK. My Macbook Air uses Roon and I have an iPod Touch 6th Gen. The set-up is easy to understand. Audioquest did a great job in including a detailed booklet written for the layperson, telling you everything you'd need to know, which is cool in the audio world. There is an extra bonus. Audioquest also threw in a nice travel pouch, a coupon voucher to HDtracks, and a 60-day complimentary trial to Roon. If you haven't read up on Roon, I would highly recommend it. It's a lot more fun than the native player. It makes your music sound better. Same thing with your phone. Let's move on to the chase. How does the Red sound? If you have good headphones and take advantage of better sources, it's quite good. If you don't do that, your music will sound a bit louder but not a lot better. I'm using the He400s, which are great reviewed headphones. They're efficient already so don't necessarily need an amplifier, but most things sound better with one. If you're wondering how the sound improves with the Red, here's my best way to explain it: more full, and more realistic. Imagine that this is a representation of your music without the amplification. Imagine if the tiny spaces between the teeth of the comb were filled in. It feels like it fills in gaps, missing information, and more realistic details, so overall everything sounds a little louder, clearer, and more enjoyable. There's more bottom end to kick drums, you can sense it on guitars and bass notes, snap on snare drums, and little things like hi-hat cymbals suddenly sound real, vs a digital copy of what's real. It feels like you're in the studio surrounded by musicians, rather than just being presented a wall of sound, because there's more separation between instruments. I did an A/B test of a rock song I'm familiar with, listening to the same parts without the Red. Sometimes the bass guitar would disappear into the drums, and sometimes you wouldn't hear it. There is a bass guitar and a drummer playing. Don't expect the effect to be a big night/day difference that will make you want to go away, or you'll be disappointed. If you take the time to get good copies of music, good headphones, and good sources, you will notice the improvement and enjoy the positive contributions the Dragonfly brings and you will want to listen to more of your music. The dragon on the device glows and changes colors, to tell you what sample rate your music is. The bottom line. The sound is great. It is great to have value. They put a lot of care into the booklet. Convenience is topnotch. The fact that it is future-proof is great. I think you'll enjoy it if any of the above describe your philosophy. There is a --- There is an update 1 month later. I decided to try out the CHORD Mojo because I was going to be curious about it. I spent about a week with it, and my honest-to-goodness conclusion was that I could not hear a difference between the DragonFly Red and the Mojo. Both of them make my music sound better, but neither is better at making it sound better to my ears. I'm pretty sure there are some things that prove that Mojo won. I couldn't pick it up. I don't know if that's because there is no difference between the two, or my equipment isn't good enough to show that difference. I'm sure others can tell one from the other. It definitely sounded great. So does Red. Red is 1/3 the cost, is upgradeable and never requires charging, it's discreet and portable, and it's much more cost effective than the other two. I am keeping the Red.

Brand: Esynic

👤December, 2021. We were sad when our amplifier broke. We dropped it a short distance to a carpeted floor, but it landed on the gain switch and broke it. Sniff! It worked well until then. We replaced it with a slightly more expensive one because it's slightly smaller and has a rounded case. We hope it works. There is a A family member with hearing loss stopped using the TV room because they couldn't understand dialog. We added this amplifier to make it easier for them to use earbuds and control the volume. A family member has impaired vision so we built a TV room with an HD projector that could show a 100 inch image. They couldn't enjoy the TV room. The TV room is a joy for all of us. There is a The battery life is good, if we turn it off, it lasts for several days on a charge. We charge it every few days and haven't run it down yet. We do not have a complex home entertainment set-up. We don't have an expensive receiver. Rather, we use.

👤I like loud music and loud bass. My laptop doesn't put out enough volume to satisfy my need for sound, despite the fact that I bought specific headphones with very good bass response. There is a The device solved my problem. I don't need it to be battery powered, that's a nice benefit. There is a When I want to really feel the bass vibrating my ears, my headphones are loud. The quality of the build, the knob, and the sound are great. There is a The noise from the laptop was very loud, hissing at low volumes, but once I plugged the headphones into a stand-alone charging device, the noise went away. Loud music.

👤I noticed that the device's charging port didn't go in easily when I tried to charge it. I saw that the charging port was touching the top. The part moved downward quickly. The inline amplifier was used to boost a small computer speaker. Two days after theusb cord was removed, the loose connecticut was back and it was at the amplifier's location. The device wouldn't charge even though it went into the port. I decided to take the device apart to find the problem after I realized I couldn't return the device since I already threw it away. The back of the microusb housing was broken and the device had a problem with the port. I connected the charging cable to the microusb port and saw that the plastic was coming out of the back of the port. The plastic was caved in towards the inside of the port which connects to the charging cable. There is a Does the device work? When it was able to charge, it did. Why did it fail? The microusb port is broken. There is a What are the pros? A metal shell and the ability to play and charge at the same time make this a sleek modern look.

3. FiiO JadeAudio Headphone Resolution Smartphone

FiiO JadeAudio Headphone Resolution Smartphone

5V Power is a very portable Home Desktop Professional Auido device that is easy to use. The KA3 headphones are equipped with the powerful and proven ESS ES9038Q2M, supporting 32bit/768kHz and DSD512. The KA3 mini amplifier has a 3.5mm single-ended output and a 4.4mm balanced output, both powerful to easily drive a variety of your headphones. You could use the KA3 portable headphones to connect with your phone, computer, or player. The current sampling rate is indicated by the RGB light indicator. The blue light is below the sampling rate and the yellow light is above it. This is a clean sound with abundant power, high signal-to-noise ratio, low distortion, and almost zero noise.

Brand: Fiio

👤The sucker works. Sounds good. Everybody wants you to create an account or pay just to see if your light will turn green, but can't find any DSD files to listen to. The FiiO app is not good. Local files are only played by it. I'm listening to Apple Music on my phone. I thought it would drain the battery down more than it did. FiiO could hire someone that understands English to improve their information. When it should be, go to My Bose freestyles and my FiiO H5's are what I'm listening to. No stuttering or noise has been reported so far. I can't get the volume up on the Bose freestyle without hurting my ears because of the little amplifier.

👤Highly recommended! I've been using a portable amplifier for a while. I own the FiiO Q3 and the iFi Hip DAC. The KA3 is the best portable computer for build, performance, and price. I've been using this with my Macbook and I haven't noticed the high battery drain or the skipping FiiO. I was surprised by the amount of power it could produce. It's the same size as the Dragonfly Black, but has a lot of power. I don't think I've pushed any of my full-sized cans past the halfway point. Most of my headphones are in the 100 to 150 ohm category, so they are not the hardest to drive. There is a The sound signature is cleaner than the others. I wouldn't recommend this for already loud headphones. Warm headphones and IEMs are wonderful. I like how my Z7M2s sound. The sound is called the FD3 Pro. It was detailed with a slight warmth. I think FiiO. / Jade Audio knocked it out of the park. Simple, powerful, sounds great! The new iFi GO is a hard competitor.

👤I fell down the rabbit hole to get the best listening experience when Apple Music introduced hi-res. You need wired earphones or a surround sound speaker system if you want to listen to wireless audio. I used the Apple-supplied lightning to connect my wired headphones to my phone. That is a device that converts data. It is limited to 48Khz audio. Both Apple Music Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless are 24bit/192kHz. You need a better DAC to hear the difference in Hi-Res audio. FiiO's new KA3 supports Apple's Hi-Res Lossless in a small footprint device at a very reasonable price. It supports higher 32-bit/768kHz and DSD-512 streams. The higher resolutions are on the phones and computers. I didn't like that FiiO didn't include the Lightning tousb-C cable. The cable that I use to charge my phone didn't work. I found an OTG cable on Amazon, and their tech support was very helpful. The light on the DAC is blue when the bitrate is less than 48kHz, yellow when above, and green when playing direct stream digital. I used my computer to listen to DSD. I can tell the difference between the two. The lights on my KA3 are used to verify the signal. I need someone to give me a blind listening test.

4. Creative BlasterX Headphone Surround Amplifier

Creative BlasterX Headphone Surround Amplifier

A practical single-sided cable. China is the country of origin. 3D gaming audio is very realistic. The best console gaming audio. The blaster acoustic engine pro.

Brand: Creative

👤I had been using the G5 for a while to get decent audio from my PC, as well as my TV through its optical out. The G6 improves on it. There is a It was already pretty good, and the sound is better. Playing Master audio tracks in Tidal and getting better separation of the instruments and better power is what makes playing Battlefield 1 so exciting. The sound is good. It makes clicky sounds if I turn on the 32 bit version and there is a hiss before audio starts playing. I'm happy with 24 bit 96khz. I don't take a lot of time off for that. Let's say 1/2 a star. There is a The best feature they added was the Dolby Digital decoding. There is a difference in watching TV and movies. It is very noticeable over the stereo pcm. There is a The streetlights on the front are worse than the original, you can't turn them off, and it's difficult to tape over. I use this in my bedroom, I sleep in my bedroom, and the computer provides enough power to keep the light on. They gave you the option of disabling the light on the top, but not the light by the dial. I have to cover it with black cloth before I go to bed. Please stop it with these lights. It is not necessary.

👤I bought this product for music production and gaming. I'm moving to 32bit from 16bit and this is the first time I buy a Soundcard that doesn't come with my mother board. I found out that most 32bit soundcards are not portable and cost between 250 and 400 dollars. There is a I thought it might be worth a try since I use Nintendo Switch and move a lot between PCs. -- There is a The device looks good, it has a smart button layout, and it has lights around buttons so you can know which mode is on when it's dark. You have to manually download the software from their website. It can be hard to re-download it on multiple PCs. Inside. You can switch between different sound settings for different games, movies, and music. There is a I can use my headphones like speakers to amplify the sound, it allows me to hear a lot more detail in my music than before. There is a I love the level of sensitivity it gives me to play around with, I feel like I can now master my tracks and harmony to a greater depth. The delay between pressing my keyboard to hear the result decreases potently if I use multiple heavy samples. The main material looks metallic but isn't, the device can get pretty hot after a few hours of usage, and the bottom of the device feels fragile and weak if you apply even minimal force on it. There is no option to change the adjustment wheel's color/color intensity, as far as I know, because the power button on the card means I cannot instantly hear my stuff without enhancements. The box has Warranty information that is very small and theusb is too short for a portable card. There are tips. You should use a longer mini-usb. You will need to adjust to some of your games, this card gives you depth and intensity you never played with before. You should find the right settings for your software and headphones. You need to manually change the sound quality on your PC's sound device to 32bit studio quality if some games don't support 32bit. I know of a few examples.

5. Fosi Audio Headphone Digital Analog

Fosi Audio Headphone Digital Analog

The audio is streamed with the highest level of detail and fidelity. The Q4 can fit with most home audio systems, but it does not support a microphone. A built-in Hi-fi headphone amplifier chip can drive most headphones with 16 to 200 Ohm impedance. A true plug-and-play digital audio adapter is easy to set up and install. 160mWRMS can be used as a volume controller for your computer. The mini compact D/A is safe for your audio system. There is an 18-month warranty on the optical cable and 5V power supply cable.

Brand: Fosi Audio

👤It's the same thing. If you're looking for the best DAC for music at this price, look elsewhere. This may be the best thing for you under $250 if you're in it for a DAC for general use. Update after nearly five months! I start with the good. Those knobs. It drives me crazy, all the people who use the devices insist that there's only one way to listen to things. If you want more bass, you should get more headphones. I don't make money and my collection still needs more variety. There is a I budget, but I'm all over the place. I have earbuds in my drawer. If you're on a low budget, there's a few Sony MH755s, Zero Audio Carbo Mezzo, and those Action Pies. There is a The Zero Audios work best with this DAC. I was surprised that the Zero Audios were not my favorite to begin with, but with this DAC they really shine. FiiO has some of my favorites so far, but I prefer other budget DACs for clear music and a good soundstage. The FiiOs are just boxes. They don't have knobs. The bass and treble knobs are kept at 75% of their total capacity. If I'm going to watch a movie, rewatch a movie, or something, I'll turn the treble knob down to 50%, and crank the bass up to about 90%. You feel like you're in a movie theater, and I just love it. There is a This isn't the best DAC for the highest quality music, but it is a good one for someone who wants to tinker with the sound, and has a high priority for how they modify their sound for movies and video games. This is a great example. The rifle in Far Cry 5 is loud. The only way to turn down the music in that game is to have bad sound control. I decided to lower the volume to 25% so that I could keep my volume where it was. The knobs can be useful. The only other one I know of that would do this well is the company name. $200 is the price for the Schiit Equalizer, and that thing alone. It's an equal opportunity. You would have to buy a DAC on top of it. There is a Maybe that's the best way to market this, as a gaming DAC, because I feel like the gaming community will appreciate this product more than the hardcore music community. There is a I'm not saying that gaming is bad, I'm just saying that they tend to be more in it for the maliable experience that pushes whatever media they are taking in more. I was immersed. They don't care if it looks good on paper, they care that it makes the experience more intense. There is a This DAC is half the price of some of the sound cards I see people buying and it can add that, but without the horrible distortion you'd find on gaming sound cards. There is a It's a simple little plug and play that looks nice on the shelf, does more than you'd expect, and doesn't break the bank. There is a If you want audio that sounds better than the bad thing you currently have but you don't need the best, then just buy this sucker. After almost five months, I've decided to pair this with the 1MORE Triple Driver in ears, and I'm very pleased with it. Absurdly bassy, but very little distortion with that combo. I've decided to raise this thing to a 5 star because I'm in listening bliss. I can't think of a part or accessory that has done anything for my computer. There is a I swear the title doesn't say "gaming DAC" anymore, and I know I said so, but it's not really a gaming DAC, it has weird sound positioning features. This does not have features involving audio enhancements. If you enjoy listening to great audio, this will be great for games. It doesn't have the usual features. I wouldn't want any special audio features for competitive games. I don't want anyone to think it has audio features when it doesn't. There is a This is still being used in February of 2022.

6. LZSIG Professional Multi Channel Headphones Adapter LHA1

LZSIG Professional Multi Channel Headphones Adapter LHA1

The function details are 1 audio input, 4 ultra-low noise output channel headphones, and restore audio detail. It's suitable for 50mm driver headphones. The Stereo button is free to switch based on the input audio source. The prevent audio crosstalk circuit is very suitable for Audio and Headphone Splitter. The ground nut is used to set the GND in electronic products. The product has nuts to reduce interference noise. This product has a power source that is stable and has a safety and sound quality that is assured. They will pay you within 24 hours if you have any questions.

Brand: Lzsig

👤It seems to work well, no distortion and a good build quality, the cable and adapter seem solid. There is a The result: The metal construction makes the build feel very sturdy. The jacks fit cables and the knobs are solid. I prefer braided cords over theusb-c cable that comes with the device. The mono-stereo switch is the only thing that is loose, but it shouldn't happen often. I use a Schiit stack (Magni + Modi) and a pair of HD 6xx's for my setup. I plugged my HD 6xx's into the output jacks of the LZSIG amplifier and then ran a 3.5mm cable to the headphone level signal from the Magni. There is a Sound quality was good. There was no noticeable drop in quality when I compared the output to the raw output. The isolation seems to work when plugging in another pair of headphones or adjusting another pair's volume, as I noticed no interference when plugging in another pair of headphones. The audio quality was good when I used an Apple 3.5mm to USB-C adapter and the output from the OnePlus 7 pro was also good. There is a Convenience. The reason I chose this unit over others was because it used specific and specific power sources. I didn't want to use another type of cable for my devices since they are allusb-c. I've tried a lot of cables and theUSB-C port works well with them. It's portable since a wall outlet isn't required, and it works off of a battery bank's power. There is a Master volume control for the input to the device is nice. There is a The verdict was: The portable nature of this device makes it easier to use, and it is a solid device that gets the job done. If you're going to do some audio signal splitting, I would recommend buying one of these. There is a There is a tip. I used a cable from the Magni to the LZSIG that only caused one of the ears to receive a signal. The cable I was using was marked as stereo, but I saw that in the manual. Buying a new stereo cable from Amazon fixed the issue, so if you run into a similar problem, it might be your cable.

👤My wife and I use to watch the service after the kids go to bed. If you don't use the terminal, you'll get static, sometimes quite bad. If you're anything like me, you might have assumed that the device comes with a ground screw. It turns out that making sure audio equipment has a shared ground is important. It's not as bad with my wife's laptop, but it's annoying if I don't ground it. My laptop and the aux cord I use do not come with a ground screw terminal or separate ground lead. I think this is a very good product, but be aware that you will need a grounding solution to use it properly.

👤I was hesitant to make a purchase because I was waiting on the Behringer model. Went with this off brand one and had an issue at first. There is a small buzz. Plug the headphones into a power strip or wall outlet. That fixed it. There is a The sound quality is pretty good.

7. KNZ Bluetooth Headphone Activities Microphone

KNZ Bluetooth Headphone Activities Microphone

It's perfect for music and gaming. It is good for gaming. Can be used with dolby atmos. Extra hearing protection.

Brand: Knz

👤They feel secure and fit well. There is a The volume is low and people complain that they hear echo when I use them. The price was very good.

👤It showed up today after I ordered it yesterday. That was fast! I listen to music and talk while I'm driving. It's against the law to have both ears covered while driving. The set up is perfect. It sits right outside the ear so you don't have a problem with it and still hear what's going on around you. This product is very good.

👤The sound quality is great, and it almost feels like it's not there when you wear them. Very light! Ear buds that fit inside are not the same as ones that are outside. Very happy with the product.

👤Very interesting idea. They made earphones that cover the ears. Good quality for the price. The bass is a little weak, but it is not a problem for the price.

👤The sound was clear and like the volume. It would be good for working in loud areas. If it is turned upside down, the band that holds it on would work well. I would recommend this product.

👤I don't dislike them. I love how they fit and worked with my phone.

👤I bought these for my grandson. I found these headphones that worked great and he had problems with the buds in his ears. My grandson was able to connect them to his switch. We don't hear the noise anymore. It's easy to connect.

👤Don't talk on phone calls. No one can understand what I am saying since it is so muffled. You can listen to music and watch videos. There was no bass.

8. FiiO Headphone Portable Coaxial E10K TC

FiiO Headphone Portable Coaxial E10K TC

You can use theusb digital audio convert to the coaxial digital audio output. The bass boosting circuit is switchable. The maximum audio format is 32bit. The model now has a Type-C port. The model now has a Type-C port.

Brand: Fiio

👤At max volume, it's barely passable for listening, but you would think this would be able to power my 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT770s. There is a If you have lower power headphones, the device is fine.

👤I am using this with a Sennheiser HD58x, which can get decent volume without an amplifier, and I have a few thoughts. I don't know how to describe it. The effect feels more alive and expansive but not quite as much as it might be. 2. The bass boost is okay. I will listen to music with it, but I will turn it off and set my own sound system to make the bass sound better. 3. The blue light on the device is too bright in a dark room. 4. Since this is an amplifier, it would be nice if it could be used with a PC. 5. I wish the device was bigger with rubber feet or smaller with a battery. 6. When you don't have any audio playing, the noise floor disappears, it's amazing, but you have to wonder if it's on or not. I think this is a pretty good deal, and while the sound improvement was not great, the fact that I can tell a difference at all is good enough for me.

👤I'm a medical transcriptionist and I need an inline amplifier because my new work platform lacks a separate volume control. I was told by research that adding a DAC chip would be a worthwhile upgrade over my office computer's onboard audio, and this looked like an update of a well-reviewed product. There is a Wow! Some of the background noise is gone and the voices are more distinct. My productivity has increased by up to 50%, with the most sardonic dictators showing the biggest improvement, because of the increased speed on the tapes. I had to take a star from the small volume control knob because of my fat fingers, but this little amplifier has paid for itself in a couple of days. There is a Music sounds better as well.

👤I wanted a little amplifier to use on my headphones as I listen to music a lot and the volume was just way to quiet using the onboard sound. The volume had to be lowered from 100 to 50-60. If I wanted to, I could blow out my ears. The bass boost button distorts bass so I don't use it and don't really recommend others use it, but this is quite the bang for your buck as a mini amplifier that works off the power of the internet.

👤The device makes my Pros sing. Hearing details I would have missed is great for gaming. Highly recommended, PC drivers work well.

👤I bought this amplifier to power my TYGR 300 R and it was absolutely worth it. The EK10 was able to power the 32 ohm 300 R, but it was not enough to make it sound good. I could turn up the volume on the EK10 if I wanted to. The sound has been great. I highly recommend this little amplifier. The sound is clear. These headphones are amazing. It took me a little longer to get used to them, but they are great.

Brand: Moukey

👤I am an electrical engineer and audio nut so I was prepared to be critical of this amplifier. Guess what? It was far beyond my expectations. There is a It is small. Two cigarette packs are laid side by side. You can put it anywhere. There is a It's made well. The metal body with rubber feet on the bottom is also electric. I plugged in a couple of different sounds and it was quiet. There was no noise at all. No hum or hiss. You get the sound and nothing else. I did not power it with anything special. The manufacturer suggests a wall wart that is a UL/CE-rated. I used headphones that were professional quality. The sound was clean at every level. Nice! Another feature may not be obvious. You can change the output and input sound levels. Control of the output sound level is the only thing similar devices allow. The input signal level is not controlled by a "master" volume control. The amplifier accommodates a wide variety of audio sources. I tried it with my electric guitar and phone at high volumes. It didn't change anything. The little amplifier took care of them all. If your phone doesn't drive your headphones to the level you want, get ready, because this amplifier will take it the rest of the way and blow your socks off! Not much else to say. This device is one of the few that does what it's designed to do. You can plug in any micro-USB 5V power supply, and it will show the presence of power with a lighted LEDs near the input jack. There was no silly power switch to use. It's on if you plug it in. You can share the audio output from your phone, computer, or guitar with your friends or band members, and they can each have their own volume control. You can get a good headphone amplifier for less than $100 or $200, and it's made for audiophiles.

👤The build and sound quality of this amplifier is amazing. The volume pots are very smooth and the amplifier is solid. I have not been able to detect signal loss, line noise or clipping even over long cable runs. I assume this thing is using some kind of high-pass/low-pass filters to get a noise floor that low. I can usually tell when I hear a HPF/LPF. The one in this class has an amplifier on the input stage. I can't imagine using an amplifier without one. It's not made for this. I'm using it as a distribution amplifier. I split the audio from the first generation gscartsw switch. One of the runs is only 3 feet and the other is 20 feet long and goes into an OSSC. I had a set up with a passive splitter but it seemed to stress the audio source so I decided to replace it with a Moukey amplifier. This amplifier allows me to boost the volume along the longer run so that I get a stronger signal and no longer stress the source while still balancing the sound between both outputs. It was annoying that it used a different style of sockets, but it was cheap and I like it. There is a There is no power supply included in the amplifier. A lot of power strips have these nowadays, so I used a freeusb sockets from a nearby power strip. I was expecting some noise from the power source but the internal isolation of this amplifier must be really good because I can't detect any degradation of the signal at all.

10. Bluetooth Preamplifier Headphone Amplifier Audio

There is a support for APTX-HD lossless transmission in the qCC3034). Matching well with many audio devices such as iPod, Phone, MP3 players, TV, Blu-ray players, and CD players, the PC-USB is compatible with Windows/Mac/Linux system. Brand: Douk Audio

👤This is based on my initial impressions of the item. I'm impressed. A great sounding amplifier. It was very well made. There were no complaints about the quality of construction. You don't know what you're going to get with this price range. There is a The bass and treble controls add to the P1's usefulness. I think they're analog. When they're set flat and then taken out of the signal path, I don't notice a change in sound quality. Having the ability to remove them completely is a plus. Even with the stock tubes, this sounds great. I have two things on hand for comparison. I've had a iFi Zen DAC as well. This little gem is better than all of them. It is more open and multidimensional. Better dynamics. It's just so sweet. There are tons of volume available. I like volume levels in real life. If you're on the fence about this, place the order. If you regret it, I will be shocked. I have done 2 tube upgrades since getting this. Riverstone Audio matched GE JAN 5654w and Voskhod Rocket 6J1P-EV/6ZH1P-EV matched pair from Tonal Tubes. You can detail out the a** with the Voskhods.

👤You say I could have fixed my PC audio problems for $100? Digital audio coming out of the PC is inferior to analog, I have always believed that. I know this is mostly a matter of taste, so that is what I like. I like the sound of R2R and Vinyl, it has a warmth and depth that fills the room. The sound coming from the PC was not as good as I had been led to believe. I was skeptical when I bought it, but I decided to take a risk. I've spent more than $100 on software and other products to try and get the sound of my music right. I was a big fan of Winamp on the PC, but then I discovered R2R and high quality vinyl, and I couldn't go back. I used Stereo Tool and MusicBee to get a decent sound out of my Alienware R17, which was equipped with NVIDIA. I couldn't get the sound of the ONKYO surround receiver to be as good as the one I was connected to. This is a little amplifier. A small box has a small amplifier, 2 bulbs, power cable and ausb cable. How much change can this make if you compare it to the ONKYO receiver? I set up the bulbs, plug them in, start MusicBee, and then select the right output. The sound that came out was amazing. The speakers and receive are the same. No software, no tweaking the sound, just stream to the preamplifier via theusb. This is the best investment I've ever made. Can't tell the difference between this and R2R. Get one of these immediately.

👤The sound quality is good, nothing perfect, but it has a little noise in the sound, but it's made by my computer sound card. The Bass and Treble control is very useful, it works perfectly, and the volume button works very well. I loved the design and it adorns my office. The power button has a light on it. It also has three switches for choose tubeLED color, tone, and input. When the amplifier is on, the two tubes don't heat up much. The gold plated 3.5mm headphone jack doesn't work well with my headset. There is a I tested all the input options and found that theUSB is better than theRCA, but I can't use the computer's built-in cable to connect theusb to my computer. I'm using the RCA cable, but I'll use theusb if possible. I didn't see a big difference in sound quality between the two, but the only way to get the cable to my computer was with energy and video cables.

11. AudioQuest DragonFly Black Preamp Headphone

AudioQuest DragonFly Black Preamp Headphone

There are EQ controls. The sound amplification device has buttons for bass, echo, mic, tone and source input mode. A remote control is included in the package. The ESS 9010 is a 32-bit DAC. The original DragonFly used a lot of power, but this one uses a lot of power, but has a lot of enhanced sound. It works with Apple and Android phones and tablets. Everything about your music is improved by this versatile DAC. It plays everything from mp3s to high-resolution files. The type of connection:usb 2.0

Brand: Audioquest

👤I could not detect any improvement on my Mackbook Air. You can get more volume, but it's not much. I tried to save the files. It's hard to believe that there is a night/day difference. Are people listening to something? Is it possible that they can hear differences that are beyond the reach of normal humans? I consider myself a good listener. I like to listen to the best masters of my favorite music. There are differences between bit rates. This has to be the biggest delusion yet created by the audiophile world, right up there with $1,000 cables that will turn any music into sparkling diamonds. At a higher price point, there is a difference between the two. This item does nothing. I didn't bother to try it on my phone as I didn't want to shell out for a lightning accessory before I knew what I was getting into. I tried it with anANDROID and couldn't get any audio to come out. There are issues with certain phones. Good luck!

👤I'll try to help those who can't decide between the Black and Red since there are lots of reviews about sound quality. I own both Black and Red and listen to them about 10 hours a week. I can't tell the difference despite listening to each one of the best headphones. I would only buy another black model if I knew what I was buying. I don't see why I have to pay extra for it.

👤The bonus for me was the ability to decode MQA, the headphone pre-amp, and the compatibility with smart phones. I have a few high end headphones and never thought that the DAC would make a difference, I mainly listen to most of my music from Tidal. I was wrong. I sat down in my computer room, turned off the lights, poured myself some wine and pressed play after I updated it so I could listen to the tracks of the MQA. I was floating in space. It was suspended in time. I started to cry, I felt everything at once. I knew it was there. I had been kissed by angels and my ears would never be the same. Now bound by machines and spirits. I woke up a changed man.

👤Audioquest has a new version of ausb DAC/amp that is similar to the dragonfly red and black. I love my Audioquest Dragonfly red. It's plugged into my laptop and drives my Final Audio Sonorous IV headphones at work. I was hoping for more of the DFR's airiness but it wasn't there. The cobalt is tighter than before, which makes it easier to hear the separation of instruments. The DFR red does a better approximation of the U curve in my settings, and I prefer a more distinct one. The DFR is more fun than the cobalt. You should try it for yourself. I have found that I need to listen to a product myself, since I have not found alignment with what reviewers say is better. You should go with what you think sounds better. You would have to make sure you compare both. The DFR sounds like the cobalt to me.
