👤I bought the replacement ear cups because I wanted a bigger ear pad on my headphones. I use the 7506s at work because of their closed back, lightweight and low sound leakage. I was looking for a cup that was more comfortable. There is a These were easy to install and make the Sony's look nicer because of their high material quality. I like the look and feel of the leather. It will take time to determine if the pads are as durable as the original ones, but it has to be at least as good as the original ones. The comfort is improved over stock pads. The force on the head is slightly higher because they are thicker than stock. They get a bit cooler on the ears than the stock pads. The plush memory foam has good ear feel and is glasses-friendly. There is a There is a noticeable improvement in sound quality with these installed. The changes were not subtle. What happened? The soundstage got wider, the soundstage came more forward, and the bass got punchier. It makes sense that the earcups are the room in which the drivers are playing to your ears. It changes the response of the headphones for the better if these pads are doing acoustic work. The earcups will change the balance of the sound to a flatter one. The trade-off is better soundstaging. The bass is more punchier and goes very low now. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to upgrade the looks and comfort of the 7506 for twenty bucks. Money was well spent.
👤It's the same thing. I recommend them. There is a Why? The material and foam are more comfortable than the original. The material seems to be more suitable for skin and hair contact. Breathable. There is a Pros - Less head squeeze and heat. The fit is more secure than the original and the price is right. This is my 3rd pair. There is no bias on the brand. I prefer the original equipment manufacturer. Brainwavz has a nice history with product ratings and I chose this brand because of it.
👤I have had these on for months and they sound great. Is the sound better? I can say they sound magnificent like all Sony V6's which is what they were used for, but I've not truly A/B'd them. I replaced another pair of headphones with a different brand about 5 months ago, but I don't remember which one, but it was one of the more popular ones. The install took about 5 minutes and worked perfectly, but I can't comment on quality since it was done for a friend. There is a The install on this is not very extensive. I will explain. The extra material went into cups that were designed by Sony. I thought I was dealing with a faulty product when I saw the extra material on these. I just shoved the material into the space and it was seated, someone on here said to use a credit card. There is a It's seated once it's in. You never think about it again. I don't like all that extra material and it doesn't seem seamless, I can imagine some people would just pull the pads over the headphones. I'm sure that's not correct. I've never seen it like that before. There is a Quality of comfort, sound and bottom line are all stars. The memory foam feels better than the original, but I'm getting into the weeds now. If you got these headphones and the pads were on, you would love them, and I can see loving them more than the original pads. There is a They should really address the install and the extra material going forward. I'm surprised I haven't heard more about it because it was a quality control issue and mine were just a cut too much. I've read a few that mention it. I don't know. I can tell you that it did eventually get to where it needed to go, and I've been loving them ever since.

👤4.5 stars! I mostly use my MDR-7506s for mixing. I bought the microsuede ear pads with the intention of replacing the original ones that had begun to black out, and am generally satisfied with this buy. It doesn't fulfill its purpose as a true, non-pleather replacement because the sound profile is noticeably different. The noise-canceling feature of the ear pads probably has something to do with it. The mids are still present for most of the time. I'm used to a brighter sound. The ear pads allow me to hear more clearly in the upper bass and low-mids. It could be an issue of needing to get used to these, but for now, I swap out my ear pads for something else. The reason for -0.5 stars is that my ears get hot after 1.5 hours of use. I don't remember if this is an issue with the original earpads, but I think it's because I've been covering them with Geekria cloth earpad covers, which made them sweat. This could be seen as a reminder for when you should take a break.
👤I expected more for the cost. They're adequate, but they seem a bit thin, and I don't find them comfortable in comparison to the original pads or a prior replacement set which began to peel after only about a year of use. There is a Maybe that's what you're paying for? Is it long-term durability? I don't know. I like the micro suede covering. It is very soft and will hold up over time. The foam is not impressive.
👤The bass became loud with these. The ear space is smaller and it's a tad uncomfortable to wear glasses after a few hours. There is a It was a shame that these didn't work out for me. If the bass was similar to stock, I would have kept them. I have to return them.
👤I am very happy with this product. The Micro Suede ones are better than the factory ones. I wouldn't say the sound quality is better, you would need to replace the speaker for the headphones. I noticed that the outside sound was reduced and I didn't hear as much background noise. Installation was straight forward. It was easy to put on, but it took a few tries to get on. I am very happy with this product and feel good.
👤The cups were nice and soft. Not as sticky as the stock ones. The foam is denser. It was very comfortable. The plushness of the cup makes it not a problem. There is a The phones are a little quieter and have a slightly different sound profile because they are thicker. I'm sure it will settle back to normal as the foam breaks. The product is nice.
👤The factory supplied earpads were ok. I went in search of something better. Glad I did. The stock pads didn't fit well in my ears. I was looking for something that was larger, softer, and made of a more earlobe friendly material. The Brainwavz Micro Suede Earpads filled the bill nicely. The 7506's are amazing for the price and now all is comfortable. Happy camper!

👤The ATH-M50x Velor pads are the subject of this review. The sound signature on the M50x is changed by the pads. I'm surprised that people don't notice a difference. It makes them into a different type of headphones. The soundstage is more open in some ways. It's almost like a hybrid between closed-back and open-back headphones because of how open the pads are. Grado's series turns the M50x's into a Grado-like sound. This is a good thing, as there is better instrumental separation. Various instruments are more identifiable due to the sound of conjugates. There is a The highs get a lot of attention. I listen to a lot of music, and for rock, classical, and acoustic, these sound great. It gets blown out when it emphasizes the mid-high spectrum. Marshmello - Alone is one of the songs. It's borderline unlistenable because the highs are so overaccentuated. These don't work for heavy dubstep-style music. There are improvements to rock, acoustic, jazz, and classical. If you want to get a sense for these, you should try out a pair of Grados. If you like the sound, then expect something similar. There is a They are very comfortable. They leak more sound, but they have open-back headphones.
👤The Brainwavz ear pads are well known and well regarded in terms of comfort, quality, and sound. There are many reviews for the pleather and velour versions of these pads. There was a post about those ear pads. I was looking into these to use with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x that I just bought.
👤I have only been wearing these for about 8 hours, but I think that says a lot. I have two pairs of headphones. The earcups were faux leather. They are sticky, hot, cramped, and eventually the vinyl gets off of the fabric backing. That's not to say that the ATH-M50 series is bad. They're awesome. My eyes have been opened since I have another earcup to compare the stock ones to. The earcups are slightly larger than the stock cups. They feel cooler with long wear times. It seems like the thicker ear pad material or the increased give creates less pressure on the top of my head from the band. There is a I can't recommend them enough. I will update my review if that changes. Long term maintenance will be included. I have washed velour earcups in the past. There is one caveat. The overall sound of the headphones is slightly changed by these. I'm not enough of an audio engineer to give an accurate description. I think I might like the sound more now.
👤Those who are worried about whether or not it will fit skillcandy are able to get them better than the stock once and are really comfortable.
👤I like the sound of my Audio Technica ATH-M50 but it would feel like I had an earache after 15 minutes. The replacement ear pads are a good fit and are far more comfortable than the original ear pads, and they were fitted relatively easy in about 10 minutes. I don't think sound leakage is a problem in my case. The headphones feel like old favorites. Highly recommended.
The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones. Replacement ear pads are made with high quality memory foam. It is comfortable and fits many headphones. It is designed for comfort and style. Quality made ear pads are durable and long lasting. The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤I got the pads for falling apart. AKG. The headphones are called K553 Pro. The headphones are a little smaller than the driver shells of the headphones. I had to stretch the binding on these to get them on. The padding doesn't cover the speaker holes, but it seems like it reduces the sound of the wider audio. The soundstage is smaller. I can't recommend these for larger AKGs. I have K553 Pros, Q701s and K702 65th Annies, which are about half a centimetre in all directions.
👤I received the wrong earpads, but the packaging was the same as what I ordered. The return process worked well and the ear pads were received a few days later. Not ideal. Oh well. There is a I tried to install. There is no heating or non-destructive stretching that one could do to install the pads I got on my set of 770s. I trimmed the fit ring material by hand until I could fit them. It's a bit frustrating and nerve-wracking. I got it done. The problem is that the thin material used for the retaining ring makes it hard for the pads to pop off. I either have to be very careful when handling them to minimize any tugging on the pads relative to the cans, or position my grip on the cans so that my fingers press down on the fit ring to keep the pad ring material from sliding back off the can ring feature. The build quality is not as uniform as I expected. Not bad but far from uniform. It's ok, but as warm or warmer than the pleather original pads, which I hoped would be an improvement. I assumed this set would breath better overall but not for me, as the air space in the trapped area gets warm over time, but not as much as sweat inducing at the skin. It's a solid sounding set of cans that sound similar to stock, so it's nice. I was willing to sacrifice a seal and sound chamber affect to get some comfort and cooling. I didn't achieve that for myself. There is a Wrong product in initial shipment, not the best quality control, doesn't fit a headphone listed to fit without so much modification that it compromised the retention, and didn't achieve what I hoped I would achieve as far as comfort based on the manufacturer info and reviews I had read. There is a This purchase is not good for me. I know a lot of people love these pads so hopefully the fit is easier for them and the comfort level is more for their taste.
👤The stock cushions on the Superlux HD 668B hurt my ears after a few minutes of use. These are great! I use my headphones for work and gaming. I wear them for a long time. I used to be in a bad mood because my ears hurt so bad, but now the pain is gone. The cushions are very soft. I used to use faux leather ones, but they don't get as hot. I wear glasses and over the ear headphones that leave me with a lot of pain, but these are so soft that I don't feel any pressure on my ears from the stems of my glasses. There is a I would say that they were a pain to get along with. The Superlux HD 668B has a non standard way of keeping the cushions on. If you have a pair of these headphones, I would recommend getting a cushion made for them. I thought I would rip these because it was hard to get them on. I would recommend something else for this specific set of headphones. I would recommend anyone looking to replace their stock cushions on anything other than the Superlux HD 668B to take a look at these cushions.
The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones. Replacement ear pads are made with high quality memory foam. It is comfortable and fits many headphones. It is designed for comfort and style. Quality made ear pads are durable and long lasting. The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤They're mostly firm but with a good amount of give and there's no angle or back to the pads. I haven't had them for long enough to speak to the longevity and durability, but out of the gate the quality seems great and a solid bet for almost half the price of my stock earpad replacements. The stock earpads on the Hifiman HE-4XXs are terrible and need to be replaced every six months. If you slip the plastic ring out of your originals, it will work for this one. It's a tight fit and you might feel like you're bending the ring clip, but once you have it in it it stretches and fits well. It's just a matter of using an Xacto knife to cut out the holes. You're good to go. It takes 20 minutes to do the conversion. There is a A small amount of manual effort seems to be worth it for higher quality at a lower price. I will report back in a couple months to see how they are holding up.
👤The originals on my HE-400i started falling apart, so I got these pads. Happy to say that the fit was good. They are similar to the original pads. There is a The originals did not last long. There is a The plastic ring is from the original HE pads. 1. The plastic ring should be inserted into the pads with the clips facing out. The plastic ring is a little bigger than the ear pad. 2. The pad should be centered over the ring. 3. To make a slit on the pads on the ring clips, use a razor blade. 4. Attach the ring back to the headphones.
👤These pads are great. I have them on my DT 880, which they fit on perfectly, but I preferred them on my DT 770. The sound on the DT 880 and DT 990 is reduced and muddy. They're perfect on the 770. The only issue I might have with them is that the velour gets a little itchy after about an hour of use. Replacement pads are very comfortable.
👤I regret ordering these ear pads because they irritated my skin. I wore them for an hour even though they were uncomfortable. It got worse. I gave the set to my girlfriend because it doesn't bother her. I will be ordering the round leather for myself as I was impressed with the product and my skin reaction was not fault of the companies. The 1 star in comfort is a warning for those with skin sensitivity. These are worth the price. The Sony Ps4 Gold headset uses these models. My purchase will be used for a headset. The New Gold and pulse 3D ear pads are the same build.
👤Most replacement pads are too large for the MMX150, so I'm glad these exist. The big pockets/sleeves of the ear pads can be used with smaller parts of the headset. It's not the best quality, but it's very comfortable. The MMX150 has a noise cancellation mode that still works well with these pads, and it is a hybrid pad. I can't wear leather ear pads for a long time because it makes my ears more oily, which doesn't happen with velour, so I'm really happy with this purchase.
Each set of Brainwavz ear covers was made with exceptional craftsmanship and materials. You will enjoy them for a long time, no matter what. Replacement ear pads are made with high quality memory foam. It is comfortable and fits many headphones. It is designed for comfort and style. Quality made ear pads are durable and long lasting. The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤I like the earpads that are available to replace the stock ones on the philips fidelio X2. I hated how fast the stock ones accumulated lint and hair. The X2s are already bassy for open back cans and I didn't try A/B testing with one of them, but my ears don't seem to notice any sonic difference. I'll give them a while since they're still so new, but I might have to use the sheepskin ones as they're even more comfortable. You don't need to use a razor to cut a small hole in the X2 earcups after you remove the stock pads and pull the backside over them. I expected that to happen. They are a deep red in person and look awesome in my pictures, but that must have been my lighting because they are dark red.
👤I bought these cushions for my SteelSeries Siberia 840's, and they reversed my buyer's remorse. The stock cushions were very shallow and uncomfortable for me. My ear was hitting the inside of the headphones which made it very uncomfortable. The pressure on my head is better after I fit these cushions. The results after modifying the orange cushions are shown in the attached images. I cut out a 40mm circle from a piece of paper, marked it with a white pen, and cut it out with scissors, because I couldn't fit it on the new cushions.
👤I had the X2HR's for less than a week and was impressed with the quality and sound, so I needed to replace the less impressive velour pads. These are still warm, but they are an improvement over the originals. If you have the X2HR's and are concerned about fitting with the weird little nubs for attaching the original pads, the black lamb skin pads don't seem to have any issues from just ignoring them and wrapping the little folds around the edges. They will go on without any issues because they are a tight fit. You will have to cut a small hole for the aux to fit into the headphones, I just poked it with a knife and then a nail clippers to clean it up. The little seam on the outer edge of each pad is something to watch out for. It didn't occur to me that I should hide them or align them before cutting the hole so that the seam on the left cap doesn't show. This isn't really a big deal since nobody sees it. If you're concerned about the appearance, you'll want to consider how you have them rotating. I only had the X2HR's for a short time and giving a side to side comparison is difficult due to the pads not being the easiest to put on. It does seem like there has been a boost in the low end, but they still sound the same. The highs seem to have become softer, not as piercing, and the bass seems to have become more powerful. The leather pads on the X2HR's have increased sound quality according to previous reading. Maybe I just heard what I wanted to hear, so I went into this expecting an improvement. There is a You can't go wrong for 20 dollars. They are more comfortable than the velour pads that were replaced. They are not as warm as I would like, but they do require an easy modification for my headphones.

👤I use the Audio Technica m40x as my portable headphones. Head-shaking bass is not a priority for me since my headphones are Grado 325s. There is a I have a big head, so the m40x has quite the clamp. These headphones are more comfortable because of the memory foam. Sound: The stock pads made the sound cramped and muddy, and the bass made it worse. The m40x sounds great when the beat drops, but with rock music, the emphasis on mid-bass becomes too much. I noticed some improvement after adding these. There's a boost in soundstage. The pads help the m40x become a better all-rounder because you lose a little bass to clear the sound up. If you queue up, you can listen to Pink Floyd's "Time". Jack U's "Where Are U Now?" The pads will help the m40x handle them both a little better. Where Are U Now benefits more from the sound signature of the m40x. The stock pads can still be a little harsh, so take the loose foam piece from them and put it behind the Brainwavz. I found that orientation affects the treble. There is a The company suggests that I try these with the elevated side at the back and the front. I preferred the elevated side. The m40x has drivers that angle to your ear, and I think the pads further angle the drivers to your ear on the elevated side. The sound stage is a bit wider and comes from the sides. I found that elevated-at-the-front alleviated some of the harsher treble.
👤The ear pads were made just right for the ATH-M50x model. Which is what I have. They feel good. It was very comfortable. I didn't experience the loss of sound that some people complained about. They sound the same. You heat up around the ears after long use. If you wear them for 3 hours straight, it's true. That can happen to any other over the ear headphones, so it's not really something to complain about. These ear pads wrap around your ear. There is a There were no instructions given to me. I didn't know how to remove my ear pads without ripping them. A little bit of instruction would not have hurt, at least a quick 1, 2, 3 step diagram. I looked it up on You Tube and watched the guy do it, so I could come up with an idea for it. It took me less than a few minutes. Don't rip them, take your time. There is a I recommend the pads. If you have the same headphones as I do, these are the pads for you.
👤After an hour of wearing my Meze 99 Classics, I would get red and purple bruise on my ears. The stock pads were upgraded to Brainwavz NOT ANGLED pads. I could still feel it on the outer edge of my ear. I could only wear them for an hour or two before I felt pain in my ears. Then tried the Earpads. I used the Meze 99 Classics to cure every issue. I was going to give them away, but I thought they sounded great. My ears are not touching. The ears were nicely cupped. I could wear them for hours. I don't have large ears. The Meze weren't made for me. The swap of ear pads has made a difference. There is a Go-To head phones are now the 99's, rather than "only in extreme necessity" situations. I wish I had a picture of the replacement pads I was shopping for. middle stock It's the same thing. Brainwavz flat pad replacements. Brainwavz pads are larger in the back, so I have more clearance in my ears. I wrapped them around the cups and it looks like you can hide all the extra leather if you do it right. Highly recommended. Thanks to Brainwavz! I have to check my other headphones for replacements.

The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤COMFORT: I got these for comfort. Pleather gets sweaty. The best combination is these pleather earpads with velour surfaces. The holes on the interior seem to help it breathe better, as well as make them more soft for a better fit. The only concern I have is that they are itchy. I'll have to see if there are ways to circumvent this. There is a They squeeze a bit more on the head because they are thicker, but it doesn't feel right. The pressure points are gone. I can wear these with my glasses on, and I don't end up with a bad fit like with most headphones. These are made to angle the drivers. The angle may be redundant because the M50x headphones already have drivers. For comparison, I will be getting a normal pair. When I first bought the M50x headphones, I was worried that the bass was too loud and that it would overwhelm the vocals. The reviews by RTINGS confirmed this. Most brands like "beats" are legendary for failing because the bass should not take over by any means, which is where a good set of headphones should have smooth presence. I was worried about the sound of the ear pads. I didn't expect the bass to smooth out and the rest of the spectrum to come out in a more open, hi-fi sound. I got these headphones because it helped flatten the response. I can't go back to stock after I went back to the stock pads. Both for comfort and sound.
👤This was a great replacement for leather ear cuffs, but it was also great because I have the HyperX Flights, which are so shallow that the entire speaker is pressed against your ear, so very uncomfortable. The headphones were designed to be pressed up very close to your ear, but they still sound pretty dang, even though it did lower the sound quality a bit. good I would prefer the insane comfort to a bit of sound quality.
👤These were bought to replace my stock ear pads. The increased thickness makes my ears more comfortable, but it also makes the pressure on my ears less comfortable. The seal is worse than stock, allowing more sound to be heard. I'd rather have a dedicated open back headphones if I was in the mood for that, as the increased distance from my ears gives a slightly more open feeling sound.
👤The stock earpads came with the TR70's. They were junk. The sound was terrible. I got these because I didn't want to take a chance with more expensive ones, and I am very pleased with them. The sound is amazing. The sound of my headphones is amazing. I like to listen to music in the background, and I also like to listen to podcasts, which sound great with anything you throw at them! There is a The only thing I didn't like about these was that they hurt after an hour. I think that's me and my giant head. The thick pads that came with the headphones did the same thing. The standard size ones did not. I did not subtract any stars for this.

👤I've been looking for this information on Brainwavz Audio's website, but they don't mention it. Don't buy this for professional monitors. The ear pads are comfortable. The memory foam is more comfortable than the original ear pads. The material is very strong. The sound signature of the headphones was completely changed by this pair of ear pads. I bought this for a pair of ATH-MSR7. The headphones don't have a very strong bass, but they sound really good. The Brainwavz ear pads completely killed the bass, and the highs started to sound like they were in an echo chamber. I didn't know that ear pads could change the sound signature of a headphones. Brainwavz is trying to do a very generic product that fits every single headphones out there. Even if it means a higher price, they should do specific ear pads for specific brands. Every model is different for a very specific brand. I don't think a pair of ATH-MSR7 earpads would fit in an ATH-M50 pair. I also tested the ear pads in a pair of ATH-M50 and got the same results. I have big ears. You can imagine how big my ears are because of the ear pads. The echo chamber effect is probably caused by its large size. There is a Someone mentioned in his review that you can still get the same amount of bass out of them with some adjustments. The ATH-M50 and the ATH-MSR7 are not supposed to have EQ adjustments. There is a It's not about getting used to the sound signature change. You're not supposed to change the sound of a monitor headphones.
👤Be careful! These earpads work fine for a while, then start peeling off, in my case less than 100 hours of use. It looks bad after less than 100 hours of use. I have taken care of it well, I wiped off sweat with damp cloth after each use, and kept headphones inside the drawer. It's disappointing that these only last less than 100 hours, but I'm not sure if I got a faulty unit.
👤If you have the ATH-M50s or similar headphones, you probably ended up here. If you did, then you should stop reading and buy these already. They are what you want. There is a If you need more information, I bought both of these. I wore them for a while. After a few hours of wearing, both were just as comfortable. My ears were big enough to fit inside the pads. The stock pads are not as comfortable as either model. The "Velor" pads were slightly more comfortable after 2 hours of use. They were cooler than the pleather, which warmed up a little more. I started with the pleather because I don't like the look of velour in general, but in the end these are not bad. I think the memory foam version is cooler than the Velor. I still have the pleather pads as backups, and both are still very comfortable. If you choose style over comfort, you will be very happy. The "memory foam" version of the Velor and Pleather models looks sleeker and doesn't get as dusty. They are easier to keep clean. If you're like me, they feel a little softer. The "Velor" version keeps the ears cooler but doesn't feel as soft when you put them on initially. There will be a slight increase in room for your ears when you use the "memory foam" version. Both are better choices and more comfortable than the stock pads on most headphones. There is a The sound changes with these pads according to other reviews. You won't notice it after an hour or so. It's not a bad change, it's just a different type of change. If you want to get the same amount of bass out of the headphones, you can adjust the bass level with some adjustments. I tested these in a quiet room and didn't notice a difference. The Velor and memory foam models have the same sound changes. I couldn't tell if the two Brainwavz pads were the same.

👤I replaced the original Sony MDR-7506 ear pads with two different ones. The black and blue Wicked Cushions are the same color. I wanted to compare the ones I licked best. The ear cushions were judged on comfort, sound quality, and overall quality. The Brainwavz is thinner and softer than the Wicked Cushions. I haven't worn them for an extended period of time yet and will update when I do. The comfort of the ear pads will be important to me because I wear glasses. The sound from the two pads was different. The Brainwavz had less bass but was cleaner mid's and high's than the Wicked Cushions. The installation of the two pads was the same, but the Wicked Cushions were a little harder to install. If you look at the pictures, you can see that the Wicked Cushions have extra material on the ends that makes them look worse than they are. The Brainwavz ear pads were better than the Wicked Cushions. The stitching quality on the pads and the mounting material was not as good as the pictures show. The ear opening in the two pads is different than the one in the Wicked Cushions. I have installed the Wicked Cushions on my headphones and will be doing a long term test to see if they last. Update will follow. I will not make a recommendation at this time as to the one I like best, the information supplied was to inform other buyers in the different characteristics of the two different ear cushions.
👤I bought the dark blue Brainwavz and the Grey camo Wicked Cushions for my Sony 7506's because they are more comfortable for my specific ears. The Brainwavz is great for you but I have big ears and the 7506's are more on- ear type headphones, so the WC's are more comfortable for long wearing sessions. The Brainwavz padding is denser and lighter than the WC's, with less resistance to compression. The Brainwavz made me feel like they were squeezing on my ears harder, which made me uncomfortable. I think it's partly due to slightly harder foam. There is a The Brainwavz inner diameter is slightly smaller than the WC's by a few millimeters on each side. I tried to take a picture of it. It is very subtle. The extra width of the WCs makes a difference on my ears because they have more space to spare. The internal seam/stitching on the WC's is more stretchy so it can widen when you put them in. There is a The Brainwavz is a bit more stiff than the faux leather one because it is thicker. The denser foam added to the pressure of the feeling. There is a The Brainwavz are good. After a few long sessions, they became uncomfortable and a bit painful on my specific ear shape and head, and I was a bit upset. It was obvious that they were more comfortable on my ears after putting on the WCs. There are subtle differences but they all add up to a clear difference in practice. If you have smaller ears, they are fine. Even though the denser foam and slightly thicker material of the Brainwavz gives a more premium and potentially more robust build quality impression, I had to choose the WC's because I can't have my ears hurting! Time will tell if the lighter foam and thinner material will hold up over time but for now, it is for me.
Replacement ear pads are made with high quality memory foam. It is comfortable and fits many headphones. These will add value to your headphones and look better than the stock earpads you originally came with. Quality made ear pads are hand made and checked before being packed. The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤My headphones fit perfectly. It was very comfortable and soft. I prefer these over velour now. I've been hesitant to order these for a long time because I want to be sure about the material. I have never heard of it or seen any reviews. I decided to give it a try and if it doesn't work, just return it. I'm glad I finally got it. I've been missing out for a long time. Don't get me wrong, I think brainwavz velour pads are amazing. I prefer these now. I don't notice a change in sound from this and velour. I already thought it was impossible, but it was just much improved comfort. It is definitely possible, Lemme tell you that. I wish they made these in all the other sizes and types of pads. The hm5 oval pads should be sold in this material as well. I would buy them all. If you're hesitant about buying these pads, just stop. Don't look back, by them now.
👤I like the way these feel and work with my AD700x. I am not an audio engineer. I like these a lot more than the stock pads, they do change the sound a bit but not in a bad way for me. I have come to realize that these can only be attributed to substandard material production, so I have decided to stop buying them. The earpads I ordered did not seem to be prepared properly before they were made. They have left stains on stuff that they touch. The material after dyed was not washed to remove excess dye. I have purple stains on my desk and wall. I don't give these things 5 stars because of that. It seems like something should be taken care of during production. The ear pads are very comfortable and feel nice. If you don't use something as a barrier between them, you could end up with purple stains on stuff.
👤These are comfortable and large. I highly recommend hanging them only if you know that the dye or coloring they used will stain everything. portable batteries, paper, plastic, anything will be stained. It took me a bit before I realized it was caused by these. It looks like oil on less porous surfaces but is a deep dye coloring on more porous surfaces.
👤It was a perfect fit on the ATH-W5000. They got a bit more bass, added subbass rumble, and had their instruments separated at the cost of slightly more distant vocals. The brainwavz pads are more enjoyable to listen to than the ZMF pads as they tend to make vocals lose too much body. The autuer pads and eikon pads have different sounds. The happy in-between for the W5000 is the brainwavz. There is a The brainwavz pads have a mounting lip. I think it's a bit vulnerable and could probably use some elastic stitching on the edge to make it more secure. There is a These pads are comfortable. It was really comfortable. Your childhood memories are like the couch.
