👤I don't leave reviews often but I made sure to review this pair of Beats replacement headphones for the following reasons. I like my headphones. I was sad to see the red leather bits peeling off because they were brought for me a few years ago, but I was happy that the replacements gave my beats a new lease of life. 2. Everyone said they are easy to install. Yes, they are! I'm a little bit crazy. I wish I knew a few things before I replaced the ear covers. You can use a bank card to detach the covers, but try not to use too much force. I tried to hold onto the earpieces instead of twisting the upper parts of the tube, but it cracked. I used super glue to fix them, but I don't want you to go through the same mistake I did. Do it slowly and take your time. The bare bone layer of the ear cover is where you'll see little holes and the new covers have protruding bits that fit perfectly into those holes. I'm very happy with the quality and how good they look on my headphones.
👤I am very pleased with this product. The studio wireless was left in its original package for up to 5 years. I found the ear cushions shattered with the soft PU leather when I tried it again. I tried to clean it, but I had to rush because of my skin contact. I was about to throw it away, then tried one last time and searched on line. The problem was over. There is a It was easy to replace. My ear bud is new. I wouldn't recommend Beats brand. The replacement worked well.
👤Covid be gone! Do you want more Covid protection? Absolutely you do! I used super glue to attach the pads to my jaw line and bridge of my nose, but I found that I had to use it again to attach the pads to my jaw line and bridge of my nose. Good rubber bands are recommended for that secure fit. It's the best part when you talk, it sounds like Darth Vader. It's a great design and will get lots of comments.
👤Quality is good. The instruction video is clear but does not mention that they included a blue plastic thingy with which you can detach the old ones. I broke a card and damaged my headphones with a knife, but realized they included a tool. The replacement is included.
👤I was going to buy a new pair of beats. The ear pads on my beats were not new and there was no way I was going to put them on my ears again. Before I bought a new pair of beats, I wanted to see if the ear pads could be replaced and they worked just as well. It was easy to install and comfortable. I saved money and paid myself.
👤I almost bought a new pair of headphones because of the damage to the ear pads, but these brought my headphones back to life. I was able to change the color and give it a different look to bring the value back. It was very easy to install and save me a lot of money. I would definitely recommend them.
The 40mm drivers are durable, powerful and designed to be ideal for cinema. Your TV needs to either be left or right. If you need a headphone jack on the TV, you need to use the right output jacks. Replacement ear pads are made with high quality memory foam. It is comfortable and fits many headphones. The design has been designed for comfort and sound quality. Quality made ear pads are durable and long lasting. It's suitable for Audio Technica ATH-M50, Audio Technica Q701, Audio Technica DJ200, Takstar HI 2050 and Pro 80, Ultrasone HF 580, SH 1 Pro and HFI 780. T50, M-Audio Q40, and S500S. The quality of the ear pads is better than the stock ones.
👤COMFORT: I got these for comfort. Pleather gets sweaty. The best combination is these pleather earpads with velour surfaces. The holes on the interior seem to help it breathe better, as well as make them more soft for a better fit. The only concern I have is that they are itchy. I'll have to see if there are ways to circumvent this. There is a They squeeze a bit more on the head because they are thicker, but it doesn't feel right. The pressure points are gone. I can wear these with my glasses on, and I don't end up with a bad fit like with most headphones. These are made to angle the drivers. The angle may be redundant because the M50x headphones already have drivers. For comparison, I will be getting a normal pair. When I first bought the M50x headphones, I was worried that the bass was too loud and that it would overwhelm the vocals. The reviews by RTINGS confirmed this. Most brands like "beats" are legendary for failing because the bass should not take over by any means, which is where a good set of headphones should have smooth presence. I was worried about the sound of the ear pads. I didn't expect the bass to smooth out and the rest of the spectrum to come out in a more open, hi-fi sound. I got these headphones because it helped flatten the response. I can't go back to stock after I went back to the stock pads. Both for comfort and sound.
👤This was a great replacement for leather ear cuffs, but it was also great because I have the HyperX Flights, which are so shallow that the entire speaker is pressed against your ear, so very uncomfortable. The headphones were designed to be pressed up very close to your ear, but they still sound pretty dang, even though it did lower the sound quality a bit. good I would prefer the insane comfort to a bit of sound quality.
👤These were bought to replace my stock ear pads. The increased thickness makes my ears more comfortable, but it also makes the pressure on my ears less comfortable. The seal is worse than stock, allowing more sound to be heard. I'd rather have a dedicated open back headphones if I was in the mood for that, as the increased distance from my ears gives a slightly more open feeling sound.
👤The stock earpads came with the TR70's. They were junk. The sound was terrible. I got these because I didn't want to take a chance with more expensive ones, and I am very pleased with them. The sound is amazing. The sound of my headphones is amazing. I like to listen to music in the background, and I also like to listen to podcasts, which sound great with anything you throw at them! There is a The only thing I didn't like about these was that they hurt after an hour. I think that's me and my giant head. The thick pads that came with the headphones did the same thing. The standard size ones did not. I did not subtract any stars for this.
All of their customers will get a 3 year warranty. Contact them to return the pads for a full refund if you're not satisfied. The Bose ear cushion is a pair. QuietComfort 35 headphones are compatible.
👤This isn't a Bose product. Bose confirmed the product is not real after I contacted them to verify the serial numbers. They told me to send the product back because it was the same price as the original product.
👤The original right ear cushion on my QC35 split apart after it began to chip on the lower edge. The left was in a state of disrepair. Why is the difference different? Don't know. The replacement pads came in a nice box labeled "QC35,WLSS,CUSHION KIT W/SCRIM,BLK,WW... Bose-logo tape was used to seal the engine in the USA and in China. The right and ear cushion was replaced. The scrim is the same as the original. It doesn't guide itself into position, and you have to align it inside the speaker cup. The mount for the cushion is not easy to get because the plastic retainers are hidden by the cushion's baseboard, and the base is thick enough that it requires an uncomfortable degree of force to get the "snap" from the prongs. I used a plastic stylus to apply pressure on the base near the prongs. The new right pad is very different from the original left pad. The new pad has blue foam instead of green, but it's 2mm less poofy than the original. The diameter of the new cushion tube is smaller than the original. Does it work differently? I can't tell, but the people who were engineering this in the USA were not working closely with the people who were making it in China.
👤The headphones don't stay secure for a day. I travel a lot for work. My dog tore one of the cushions and it was supposed to be a Bose replacement part. The packaging says something. Bose looks like it should work, but they fall out at the wrong times. I'm going to try super glue, but I don't want to damage the speakers. It's as if the retention gap is easy to fall into but not secure. They feel good when it's in. Any help from Bose would be appreciated.
👤If you order it directly from Amazon, it will be an original Bose product. The Bose manual is inside the sealed box. I had peeling issues from my ear cushions. The new units definitely improved their performance. Make sure you follow the instructions. There is a * Double check that the new cushions sit inside the 10 clips on the headphones.
👤After the ear pads on my originals started to lose the leatherette covering, I decided to pick them up. It lasted four years, but began to lose the covering a year ago. I would call this moderate use. A few hours a day with music and maybe an hour or so at night watching TV. I use them in remote work and in zoom meetings. The quality is good, but they are difficult to install, and they fit just like the originals. Installation instructions are what they come with. The replacement process is explained in the videos I found, but the instructions are pretty much what you see in the videos. I was able to install mine in about 30 - 40 minutes, which included removing the old pads and scrims, cleaning up the tape, and installing the new pads. There is a The plastic tabs need to be compressed to fit under the foam lip. You have to push hard with your finger nail. My place didn't fit right. The installation process is not easy because of the fragile foam lip. They're ruined if you mess it up. I think this is what causes them to fall out for someone. There is a If I had any advice, it would be to start with the top notch, then do the bottom one, then one on each side, and so on. If you just do one side and go around, the headphones will pop out as you go, at least that was my experience. There is a These are expensive for what they are. They were original equipment and lasted four years. If you spend the extra 15 bucks, you can get these, which are real deal. You can afford headphones for a few years if you can afford 350 dollars. 5 stars for the quality, but 4 for the install process. You only have to do it every few years.
The quality material of the headphones greatly reduce the phenomenon of poor contact. The oxygen-free copper wire core of the high-quality TPE wire has better conductivity and less distortion of the sound source signal. 18 months product service and 30 days technology support. Their service team will be able to help with product problems. These Extra Thick Earpads are meant to fit the Audio Technica Ath models. They are compatible with many popular gaming Headsets, including Hyperx Cloud 2, Cloud Alpha, Cloud Flight, Arctis 7, Arctis Pro, Logitech G Pro X, Turtle Beach Stealth 600, and many more. The entire process of removing your old ear pads and installing your brand new Upgraded Replacement Ear Pads can be done in a few minutes with the help of a detailed, step-by-step video. Professional-grade PU leather is designed for long-term, crack-free durability. The extra thick pads are designed for long-term comfort. Listen to music or a game for long periods of time. The sound performance of your headphones is negatively affected by your old ear cushions. The ear pads conform to your ear, so you can drift off into the beats. Replacement earpads were made to last longer. They added stitching and glue on the inside seam to prevent splits. As time goes by, your ear pads will become flat.
👤They are very well built. This is a high quality product. The pads fit nicely on my headphones. They are bigger than oryginal pads in all dimensions but this doesn't change anything. The biggest issue with them is that they change the sound signature of headphones very much. I love them when I wear them, but I hate them when I hear how they change the sound. Mids are destroyed and sent back to the second row. Highs have less information. There is no clarity anymore. The sound stage is smaller. Cheap Bass is everywhere. The bass is louder and there is more bass. I like the sound of M50x, it's balanced, has a good reach and has some nice details. My M50x was changed in cheap headphones. I throw the new pads in the garbage after an hour. Don't get me wrong. I bought the materials because they were not comfortable for me. This will be the same sound signature with more padding on top, but this is not the case. I don't recommend them if you love the sound of your headphones.
👤I usually don't like when people write reviews for products, but I was so impressed by these ear cushions that I couldn't wait to get them. I realized after writing this that a lot of what I said was very similar to the product description, so I wanted to say that this is not a paid review, nor was I given anything to review these ear cushions. I am a low-level audiophile home for the summer with nothing else to do. I've been using AudioTechnica ATH-M50X circumaural headphones for over 4 years now, and I use them for gaming, listening to music, and watching videos. I've spent at least 2,500 hours wearing these headphones with the original ear cushions. The old cushions are very old. The foam has almost completely compressed, the outer materials have been breaking off in tiny flakes for about 8 months, and the inner layer of the lining between my ears and the sound drivers has a hole in it. The replacement cushions are perfect. I'll get my only complaint out of the way, and that was the delay in the shipment of my ear cushions. It took 9 days to get them after I completed my purchase, because I got them in the mail the day after I was notified of their shipment. It's understandable that a slight shipment delay is understandable. The cushions keep the 5-star rating, so this doesn't detract from the product. The good stuff: 1. The cushions are both thick and large, with the diameter of the ear holes being larger. This is the first time I've ever had my ears completely encapsulated by headphones, and I have big ears. It means that I don't have to worry about my ears being pushed awkwardly against my head, something I noticed a lot when wearing my headphones for a few hours at a time. I wear contacts but they feel good with my glasses on. There's not much pressure with glasses on. I think this is because the cushions fit over my ears and don't push on the tops like other headphones do. It is wonderful to finally get the real circumaural headphones. 2. These cushions are large. The foam in these cushions is thick. One of the biggest reasons my headphones were so uncomfortable before the upgrade was that the sound drivers were touching my ears. I thought I might feel a bit of squeezing, but that is not the case. I can barely feel the headphones on my ears, only squeezing around them. I have no doubt that they will go away over time as the foam breaks in, because they fit snug right now. 3. The sound quality of my headphones has improved greatly. I have listened to music with these for about two hours and I am amazed at how much the quality has increased. I listen to different genres to see how they sound. I don't know how to explain the improved depth of sound. It isn't that music sounded flat before, it's more that it now sounds like surround sound The increase in depth is crazy. The bass fills the space around and in my ears like it hadn't before, thanks to the new depth in the mids and highs. I didn't know that cushions could have a huge impact on the range of sound headphones can produce, so this is a pleasant surprise. I saw this translate to the game. The improved clarity and quality of the game is very helpful. 4. Installation was easy. There is a little diagram of how to install the cushions. Pull the old ones off and put the new ones on. You shouldn't have to worry about ripping the cushions during installation because they stretch quite a bit. 5. This is one of the most generic pros you can find, but the cushions seem to be very high quality. The memory foam is very strong, it keeps its shape very well, and the leather is very soft. I will have to update this review in a few months to discuss how the memory foam holds up, but the fact that it has memory foam at all should be an indicator of the quality and comfort these cushions provide. There is a chance that the cushions will retain a lot of heat when worn for a long time or when gaming. The materials are very strong. I think they insulate heat too. I have had issues on my head for about four hours.
The product is made by the KAPON, it does not have any trademarks owned by the original company, and the seller is not affiliated with the original company in any way! Installation is easy with this complete replacement ear pads kit. A step-by-step guide for you to follow is included. Special design makes it last longer. Their replacement ear pads are compatible with Sony 7506 headphones and have added stitching and heavy-duty glue on the inside of each earpad. One of the most common issues Sony users face is splitting seams. Replacement ear pads are made from thick, enhanced memory foam that makes them feel great on your ears and improves sound. As time goes by, the ear pads will not become flat. The Sony MDR 7506 was made more than 20 years ago with no longer used technology of wrinkled leather ear pads. Their smooth PU leather ear pads are made different these days, so bring your Sony MDR 7506 to the modern era. They don't cut corners or reuse other ear pads, which causes a weird, awkward fit. They exceed expectations by rigorously testing each cushion. The ear pads are compatible with the headphones.
👤I've been using the Sony v6's almost daily for 11 years and it was time to replace the pads. I found these awesome cozies instead of buying the Sony replacements. The Sony pads made my ears sore after a day of use. Being the cheap bast*rd I was, I stuck with the headphones. I decided to look around for other options after the replacement pads started wearing. I gave the puppies a shot instead of buying new cans because I came across them. The new pads have been a big hit. I can wear them all day. No need to give out another 80 bucks. There is a The Pros are bigger and fit the ear better than the originals. Love the foam. There is a The surround is snug enough, but not as snug as the OG's. It hasn't slipped off or bothered me at all. My guess is that this is a design meant to fit multiple sets. I have not noticed that they have better isolation than other reviews. Maybe they do in the smallest way. They're great. Get them. I think they are better than the older versions. They have been falling apart for 4 years now. I'm getting black hair. It's still the best bang for your buck. I bought another pair.
👤The sound quality and acoustics of the pads are a huge disappointment. The sound quality is amazing, I have had the same model for 20 years. I wanted to replace my old pads because they had deteriorated so much. I was happy to pay a bit more for some decent pads because they looked great from all the reviews. The sound quality and acoustics were different after installing them. Pull your headphones away from your head, it's the easiest way to describe the way they sound now. The basses have dropped off dramatically, and the treble is way too emphasized. Like listening to cheap headphones. I can restore the original sound of the old headphones by applying a fair amount of pressure to the headphones against my head, which makes me think that the sound is being absorbed by the pads or leaking through the gap between the speakers. I don't recommend these ear pads, I feel like I ruined a great pair of headphones. I am open for suggestions on how to fix them or a set of better ear pads.
👤After using my old Sony phones, my family commented on my face being black. Why doesn't Sony fix this defect in their product? I was surprised to find these replacement ear pads. It's easy to install and very comfortable. I can get back to enjoying music without the black hair on my face.
👤I use headphones more than the average person, and while the MDR-7506's are just about the best available for all-around broadcast usage, the ear pads don't last very long. I think for the majority of my career that the pads weren't replaceable. Imagine my surprise when I found out they were. I received a pair of these that fit, but they seem to have extra material around the frames of the speakers that I couldn't get to fit as snug as I would have liked. They fit well enough that they fit properly and don't interfere with the audio quality, so that could be the reason I missed something. The Sony's studio monitors are great because of the foam that helps to separate the sound from my ears. The most important lesson about this purchase is that the pads are made from memory foam, even though I can't confirm this, and they feel fine and comfortable. Replacement pads are definitely worth it if you use your Sony's for a long time. The large aluminum handle was found inside the packaging, which looks like it was broken off from where it was originally welded. It has nothing to do with the product I ordered, only to make the package weigh more. Since I'm a Prime member, I didn't have to pay for shipping in the first place. I'm not sure why they would include something like that if they didn't want to increase the weight. If this is a way to get us to pay for more shipping costs, it's a pretty low way of doing it, but if that's the reason, I have no idea what it was for.
TheseARPADS are not made by Original Brand Inc. Only QuietComfort 35 and QuietComfort 35 II are compatible with. The installation is flawed. You will get a plastic stick with the Earpads, a pair of scrims, and a user guide, making the installation easy and fast. It's ingENUITY. It's time to buy a new dress for your headphones. Don't be afraid to take off your old ear pads and use their new ones. They are continuing to develop more professional ear pads. If there is an issue with your purchase, please contact them for replacements or refunds.
👤I gave a good review after I installed one of them on my Bose QC35's. It fit well and felt the same as the factory pads. I wore the headphones again that night. The installed pad felt like it might be coming off, so I assumed it was incorrect. I took them off to look at the piece of furniture that had fallen apart. I received a note of apology and assurance that new pads would be free of charge after I responded to the seller. After two weeks, I'm still waiting. I don't recommend anything that falls apart in 24 hours.
👤My original Bose ear pads wore out over time. I looked around for an alternative to Bose. I used the install tool to choose these. I replaced the ear pads on the older pair of QC3s. I thought it would be good to have the tool in case. The felt in my hand was just as good as the original pads. The quality of the pads was the first thing I noticed. Very impressive. The leather was soft and supple. They looked like the original. The second thing I noticed was that the scrim screen that covers the actual speakers and ANC circuitry was a different color than the original. The original was black and this one was gray. I don't know if these are the same as the newer model, but I think they are. Even though the color isn't the same, these still function the same as the original. The color difference is an observation. The pads fit the headphones the same way as the originals. The entire process took about 10 minutes and I didn't need a tool. The tool would be helpful to some. They fit just like the originals. They are more comfortable than the original. The foam on these feels a bit more firm than the originals so they fit a bit more snug. The noise cancellation may be a bit better if the headphones seal to your head. It seemed to help the sound quality. I will purchase another pair when these wear out. I recommend them even if they are 1/3 the price of Bose.
👤The replacement for the original is pretty good. I don't think it's up to the standard of the originals that come with the headphones. The original pads that come with the headphones are not as durable as they could be. I started splitting at the seam after just a year, and those are just junk. I wouldn't be surprised if these surpass the originals, which would be a big plus in their favor. There is a What is the issue with the performance of these? It's clear that the pads are not as high as the original, which means that the headphones will press a bit closer to the head, so you may start feeling the hard rim. The difference in thickness could affect the tone of the sound since the electronics and design of the headphones are matched to the specific distance that the pads keep the drivers from the ear. The foam shape is not as rounded as the originals, and I feel like there is a reduction in passive isolation. The seam on these seems to be more pronounced than on the originals, which can make them feel a bit uncomfortable when listening for a long time. There is a These are better than the pads that are falling apart. Bose's replacements should last more than a year before splitting at the seam again, so I was hesitant to buy the more expensive ones. Bose's original pads are fundamentally flawed because they don't last much more than a year, so there should be a recall or free replacement. It is reasonable to replace pads after a year of gentle use. The design of the originals is perfect, but the quality of their workmanship is not up to par.

👤The old set of pads. I had a Steelseries Arctis 7. I got these as replacements. After an hour or so of use, these are not comfortable. They aren't thick enough to keep my ears from touching drivers. The old ones I had were better for me.
👤They were easy to install, had a great fit, and unlike the original fabric earcups they didn't slide around. It made my headset feel new. I was very happy with the purchase.
👤It's perfect for the Arctis 7X. It should last a long time.
👤I bought these to replace the original pads on my headphones. He is happy with the new pads. He says that they are very comfortable and do a good job of cancelling out noise when he is playing a game. Happy husband. I think it's worth the money.
👤I send this one to a friend as a gift and it works on my BlackShark. The product is very useful.
👤I took these off instantly and they were hotter than normal earcups.

👤I've been looking for this information on Brainwavz Audio's website, but they don't mention it. Don't buy this for professional monitors. The ear pads are comfortable. The memory foam is more comfortable than the original ear pads. The material is very strong. The sound signature of the headphones was completely changed by this pair of ear pads. I bought this for a pair of ATH-MSR7. The headphones don't have a very strong bass, but they sound really good. The Brainwavz ear pads completely killed the bass, and the highs started to sound like they were in an echo chamber. I didn't know that ear pads could change the sound signature of a headphones. Brainwavz is trying to do a very generic product that fits every single headphones out there. Even if it means a higher price, they should do specific ear pads for specific brands. Every model is different for a very specific brand. I don't think a pair of ATH-MSR7 earpads would fit in an ATH-M50 pair. I also tested the ear pads in a pair of ATH-M50 and got the same results. I have big ears. You can imagine how big my ears are because of the ear pads. The echo chamber effect is probably caused by its large size. There is a Someone mentioned in his review that you can still get the same amount of bass out of them with some adjustments. The ATH-M50 and the ATH-MSR7 are not supposed to have EQ adjustments. There is a It's not about getting used to the sound signature change. You're not supposed to change the sound of a monitor headphones.
👤Be careful! These earpads work fine for a while, then start peeling off, in my case less than 100 hours of use. It looks bad after less than 100 hours of use. I have taken care of it well, I wiped off sweat with damp cloth after each use, and kept headphones inside the drawer. It's disappointing that these only last less than 100 hours, but I'm not sure if I got a faulty unit.
👤If you have the ATH-M50s or similar headphones, you probably ended up here. If you did, then you should stop reading and buy these already. They are what you want. There is a If you need more information, I bought both of these. I wore them for a while. After a few hours of wearing, both were just as comfortable. My ears were big enough to fit inside the pads. The stock pads are not as comfortable as either model. The "Velor" pads were slightly more comfortable after 2 hours of use. They were cooler than the pleather, which warmed up a little more. I started with the pleather because I don't like the look of velour in general, but in the end these are not bad. I think the memory foam version is cooler than the Velor. I still have the pleather pads as backups, and both are still very comfortable. If you choose style over comfort, you will be very happy. The "memory foam" version of the Velor and Pleather models looks sleeker and doesn't get as dusty. They are easier to keep clean. If you're like me, they feel a little softer. The "Velor" version keeps the ears cooler but doesn't feel as soft when you put them on initially. There will be a slight increase in room for your ears when you use the "memory foam" version. Both are better choices and more comfortable than the stock pads on most headphones. There is a The sound changes with these pads according to other reviews. You won't notice it after an hour or so. It's not a bad change, it's just a different type of change. If you want to get the same amount of bass out of the headphones, you can adjust the bass level with some adjustments. I tested these in a quiet room and didn't notice a difference. The Velor and memory foam models have the same sound changes. I couldn't tell if the two Brainwavz pads were the same.

👤The ear pads are shot. They can be replaced. I looked at a lot of things. I bought these. They are less expensive than Bose. They arrived in less than 24 hours and fit perfectly. The most recent state of the originals may affect how comfortable they feel. The quality is the same. The whole process exceeded my expectations. I recommend these to anyone who is thinking about replacing their Bose ear pads.
👤The product description is not a good one. This ear pads replacement only contains the correct cloth material pad for the inside of the QC15 ear pieces that need a small cut out to fit properly over the components inside each ear piece. The ear pads for the QC35 headset are different from the ones for the QC15, so if you want to replace that headset's ear cushions, you'll have to use the correct ear pads. The ear cushions are the proper replacements for the QC15 and the QC35, according to the manufacturer that sells the replacement set on Amazon. You can replace whichever headset cushions you need if the manufacturer includes both types of ear cushions. The product is called "B07Y6KC18Y" and it is available on the Amazon website.
👤Good quality. I feel good when I wear that. There is no difference between the original set and the one we have now. There is a That is a good choice for replacement. The installation process is the only concern. It will require good patience and a precise operation. It took me about 10 minutes to finish the process. The original design of the assembling method was to blame. It will be the same regardless of which branch you buy. If you calm down and finish the manual step by step, you will get a brand new headset. You can see the damaged pair in my pictures and the new pair of cushions in the shape of the headset.
👤I replaced the pads on my headphones. There is a The item comes with an installation tool which is perfect for the install. The cushions are very comfortable and the price is unbeatable. I like the tan color. The installation tool and instructions make it easy to swap the headphones. Be careful when using the tool. I made a mistake by having the tool slip off of the flange. It is not a big deal, and it is very small, so just take care when using the tool. This was my fault and there is nothing wrong with the product. These cushions and the kit are A+. I would recommend these to users of SoundTrue headphones. I know they are compatible with other Bose products, but I don't have them.
👤I needed an affordable replacement for my Bose QC 35's and found this option. The advertisement is online. The replacement cups were cheap and I was concerned about their quality. That concern was quickly laid to rest because they are perfect. There is a The fit is perfect. They create a very comfortable environment. The installation is straightforward if you take your time and use the tool provided. They will fit and feel like a new phone. There is a The only grip I have is the fabric. It was too small and had a cut out that made it inadequate in its coverage compared to the original. This is important because of the heat build up and potential light damage that can affect the electronics. I don't use this kind of headphones for exercise due to the risk of damage to the skin. I don't like the idea of having a sweat soaked ear cup. You may need the replacement inner ear fabric for those who have exercised in their headphones. There is a I was going to go through with the full replacement, but after installing one ear cup and fabric. I decided to take it out and keep my original fabric which is in very good condition. There is a I recommend the ear cups as a replacement, but not the fabric interior. There is a It would be perfect if the maker of this replacement made them the same as the Bose OE.

👤The ATH-M50x Velor pads are the subject of this review. The sound signature on the M50x is changed by the pads. I'm surprised that people don't notice a difference. It makes them into a different type of headphones. The soundstage is more open in some ways. It's almost like a hybrid between closed-back and open-back headphones because of how open the pads are. Grado's series turns the M50x's into a Grado-like sound. This is a good thing, as there is better instrumental separation. Various instruments are more identifiable due to the sound of conjugates. There is a The highs get a lot of attention. I listen to a lot of music, and for rock, classical, and acoustic, these sound great. It gets blown out when it emphasizes the mid-high spectrum. Marshmello - Alone is one of the songs. It's borderline unlistenable because the highs are so overaccentuated. These don't work for heavy dubstep-style music. There are improvements to rock, acoustic, jazz, and classical. If you want to get a sense for these, you should try out a pair of Grados. If you like the sound, then expect something similar. There is a They are very comfortable. They leak more sound, but they have open-back headphones.
👤The Brainwavz ear pads are well known and well regarded in terms of comfort, quality, and sound. There are many reviews for the pleather and velour versions of these pads. There was a post about those ear pads. I was looking into these to use with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x that I just bought.
👤I have only been wearing these for about 8 hours, but I think that says a lot. I have two pairs of headphones. The earcups were faux leather. They are sticky, hot, cramped, and eventually the vinyl gets off of the fabric backing. That's not to say that the ATH-M50 series is bad. They're awesome. My eyes have been opened since I have another earcup to compare the stock ones to. The earcups are slightly larger than the stock cups. They feel cooler with long wear times. It seems like the thicker ear pad material or the increased give creates less pressure on the top of my head from the band. There is a I can't recommend them enough. I will update my review if that changes. Long term maintenance will be included. I have washed velour earcups in the past. There is one caveat. The overall sound of the headphones is slightly changed by these. I'm not enough of an audio engineer to give an accurate description. I think I might like the sound more now.
👤Those who are worried about whether or not it will fit skillcandy are able to get them better than the stock once and are really comfortable.
👤I like the sound of my Audio Technica ATH-M50 but it would feel like I had an earache after 15 minutes. The replacement ear pads are a good fit and are far more comfortable than the original ear pads, and they were fitted relatively easy in about 10 minutes. I don't think sound leakage is a problem in my case. The headphones feel like old favorites. Highly recommended.

👤My first pair of high end headphones was the famous Sennheiser HD580, and I am a "audiophile" of a certain age. They came with a really weird virtual surround system and I bought them many years ago. I paid a lot more for them than I had before. The HD580 has been replaced by the HD600, which has the same drivers as the 580, but with improvements to the build quality. Even with all the competition, the 600 is still a favorite among people who know a wide range of cans. There is a The pads that come with both versions have a limited life span. The sound and comfort of the headphones is greatly diminished after a while. Third party alternatives to the original pads are very limited. You can either buy cheap pleather or velour pads from China or Dekoni. The prices start at $35. Don't waste your time, I have sprung for the Chinese pleather pads. The ones I bought had an adverse affect on the sound of the 580 and I suspect that all of the many online retailers are selling the same thing. There is a I wanted to avoid spending $50 on replacement pads. I started buying headphones that I would enjoy more than the one I had before because I wanted to upgrade to a better model. Maybe it's me. The old 580s were more satisfying than the new ones, even with the Chinese pleather pads. There is a I finally bought these and bit the bullet. I'm so happy I did and you will too. If you want to make your HD580/600 cans good as new, this is how you do it. Highly recommended.
👤I have owned a pair of senns HD600 for over a year. I washed the pads a couple of times as they get smelly, but I ended up destroying the foam and the drivers started to get too close to my ears, killing the soundstage. There is a I decided to replace them. My pair is new. The spacious and beautiful sound is back. I didn't know what their sound signature was. I would recommend these to any owner of a HD600 who has worn out ear pads. The sound was changed by it. They did improve the sound, but I thought about deducting a star. I bought these after a year and a half. There is a Do not squeeze the foam while washing the pads or drying them. That's what destroyed me. There is a I had issues fitting the old pair when I replaced them. I suggest putting your fingers under the foam and pushing the disc with your thumb. That way the foam won't be flattened.
👤I have owned my HD600's for 39 months and they get a lot of use. The first pair of these headphones I owned was introduced to the market in the 90's. I was working a second shift and at some point my son who was just a toddler got his meat hooks on them and placed them in the dishwasher, because he was upset that I was away. My wife didn't know they got a bath. End of those! There is a I decided to give the 600's another listen after many years and I listen to them 4-5 hours a day. The pads got a cleaning of sorts using my fingers and a damp cloth, but I noticed that the pads were beginning to degrade a little bit. I wanted to replace them. They were still good, but they were getting a bit tired. A little bit was smashed. I decided to go with the original equipment manufacturer route because of the reviews which said that other products changed the sound signature or were not deep enough, so I would suggest you do the same. Replacing the cups is straight forward, just grab the top and bottom and tug gently. Remove the cup and inner foam before the replacements come in. They will stay in place until you need to remove them again. There is a Here's my opinion. They feel like brand new headphones. I didn't get a sense of renewed clamping. My ears are the same size as they were before, the pads are comfortable, and they look brand new again. If you love your cans, they are worth the money. Highly recommended.
